“Thank you for the class”

I greeted my teacher with the rest of the class.

“Are you not leaving Yeonjun?”

“Oh im staying back to practice more”

I waved my friends goodbye as they all headed out the studio one by one.

Connecting my phone to the speaker I turned it up to full volume and started dancing.

It was another rainy day all dark and gloomy but I wasn't going to let that stop me.

I put in my ear piece to drown out the sound of the thunder as I continued dancing.

Suddenly the lights flickered off.

Staring at the ceiling I stumbled in confusion before dancing again.

“It must be just a black out”

More thunder rumbled as lightning lit the skies before it lit the building.

How did I not notice.

The building was crumbling under me.

The music got me lost in a daze making me oblivious to what happened until the walls came crashing down on me.

Hours passed and I heard multiple loud sirens blaring around me.

I was then brought to an unfamiliar place where people in white coats and gloves all stared at me.

Glancing to the side the only thing I saw was a heart rate monitor.

I watched as the line went from mountains into hills and into flat lines before a loud beep was played.

I was dead.
