"Hi Jae, ready for a long day?" Jae's co-worker Stacy asks, once again reminding Jae of the tedious 12 hour shift she has today.
"Not at all." Jae groans in return, hitting her head on the desk to further emphasize her feeling for the long shift. "This job is going to be the death of me, literally."
Stacy laughs in response before leaving to go tend to a patient, reminding Jae she should probably do the same.
Jae had been working at this hospital for just over 3 years now and she wished she could say it was a dream. At first, it was, that's for sure, but that dream-like state quickly left as she realized the long shifts and exhausting patients she would constantly be surrounded by. And as much as she wanted to quit, she couldn't. It was as much her parents dream as it was hers, the only difference now, it that it is no longer hers.
Jae quickly stopped day dreaming and swiftly walked into a patients room. He was an elderly man, quite rude at times but nothing Jae couldn't handle. He had burnt his feet in hot oil and would be staying in the hospital for a few weeks, much to Jae's disappointment.
"Hi sir, how are you feeling this morning?" Jae asked, trying to be as sweet as possible.
"I feel how you look, like shit." He bluntly says, leaving Jae standing there, mouth open in shock.
"You what? Hold on-" Jae starts, ready to go full bitch at this old man.
"JAE." The head nurse yells, making Jae whip her head around quickly, eyes widening in fear.
"We need you to tend to someone else, I'll take care of this patient." She quickly says, confusing Jae even further.
"What why-" Jae begins, quickly shutting herself up seeing the look in her bosses eyes.

"It hurts oh my fu-" Jimin starts before a hand it quickly slapped over his mouth. He furrows his eyebrow at Namjoon, cussing him out in his head. "There's no children around you don't need to be so uptight my gosh." Jimin groans in both pain and annoyance.
"Hi I'm so sorry for keeping you waiting sir, what seems to be the problem?" Jimin looks up as the voice enters the room to see a girl around his age standing by the door. He looks at her blankly, only catching onto a few words she spoke.
"He doesn't speak English sorry, I will translate if needed though." Namjoon steps up quickly, seeing Jimin's confused state.
"Oh that's okay, what language does he speak, we might have staff who can speak it." Jae tries again, smiling at the handsome men in front of her.
