His successor

𝐹𝒾𝒻𝓉𝑒𝑒𝓃

Chloe and Luka didn't spend much time together since he was getting a lot of attention because he was new. Chloe wasn't planning to ruin it for him. Whenever Luka tried to go to Chloe, she would always tell him to leave her alone because she wasn't in a good mood. 

It was home time, Chloe was about to go into her limo when she suddenly got stopped by Luka. 

"Chloe! Wait up!"

"Ugh. What is it now?"

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"I told you I'm fine!"

"No you're not. I can see it in your eyes, you're not fine at all. You're melody is giving off a sad and low pitched tune. Something like this." 

He played a low pitched tune that was supposed to sound depressing but for some reason it sounded nice to both him and Chloe. 

"...Fine I'll tell you. But just not here. Come with me."

He followed Chloe into her limo. They both sat there quietly. Chloe couldn't help but stare at Luka. He was playing that low pitched tune again. He had a smile on his face. Chloe found it really attractive. 

"Hot." She thought. 

She blushed as the thought came into her head. 

"Huh!? What am I thinking!? He's not hot! He's ridiculous utterly ridiculous! But for some reason...

NO! I can't fall for him! No. I can't. I won't."  She thought. 

Luka stopped playing his guitar. "Something wrong?" He asked.

"Yes. Wait no. Ugh just leave me alone."

"That's what you've been saying for the whole day." Luka replied as he got closer to Chloe. 

"Wh-what are y-you doing!?" She asked. 

"Just answer me. Tell me what's going on. You've not been acting yourself." He replied as he put his fingers on her chin. 

Chloe blushed super hard. "Fine I'll tell you. And please let go." 

"Okay." He replied as he slowly let go. Luka slightly blushed. 

"I-I'm giving up the butterfly miraculous." She sighed. 

"Wh-what? I mean, I am happy that you're not hurting anyone but isn't it a little too soon?"

"I don't care. I've lost everyone because of this stupid miraculous. I-I lost m-my best friend Adrien! I don't care about Hawk Moth anymore. I quit." Chloe answered. She suddenly burst into tears. 

"Don't cry. Maybe you can be friends with everyone again and have Adrien back. You probably like him as well don't you?" Luka said, hugging Chloe. 

"L-Like A-Adrien..." She stuttered. 

Chloe hugged Luka even more. 

"No! I finally realised. I don't like Adrien like that. I never have. The person I love...Is you Luka."  Chloe thought to herself. 

"So Chloe also likes Adrien as well...How many times am I gonna get rejected."

The limo stopped at Luka's place. They both walked out. 

"Luka...I don't like Adrien the way you think I do. I don't like anyone like that. Wait maybe I do! Wait no I don't! Ugh. The main thing for you to know is that I'll always be there for you Luka and I'll do anything for you." Chloe said, hugging him. Luka blushed when he heard those words, so he hugged back. 

"I will as well Chloe." 

They both let go and walked off. Chloe went inside the limo and told the driver something. 

"Take me to the Aggreste's house! I'm gonna give Gabriel a little bit off attitude before I give him this."

"Hello Chloe Bourgeois. What seems to be the problem?"

She stomped up the stairs and threw the butterfly miraculous at him.

"I quit being your successor! I don't care if I ruined your reputation or whatever. Because of you I lost everyone! You can try being Hawk Moth again but you'll never be able to succeed cause of how dumb you are. You don't deserve anything. I hope Ladybug and Chat noir find you and defeat you! Now goodbye!" Chloe yelled. 

Gabriel looked at her in shock. He was speechless. 

"How about the bee and the snake miraculous?" He asked.

"Oh. The snake miraculous belongs to its rightful owner while the bee miraculous belongs to me! I'll put great use to it!"

She then left to go back to her house.

"Andre, I'm going back to New York."

"What do you mean!? You only just came back, and I thought you were gonna stay permanently!"

"Oh don't worry. I'm only going for a few years, it's for some fashion designing. I'm planning on taking one of the girls with me."

"Oh. Why don't we discuss it at dinner then." 

"Ok."

The Bourgeois family were eating dinner together. Zoe seemed happier than usual.

"Chloe, Zoe, I'm going back to New York for a few years but don't worry we'll be back soon." 

Both Chloe and Zoe looked at her in shock. "No mum please! I don't wanna go back to New York! I made so many friends here. Please can I stay!" Zoe pleaded. Her mum then looked at Chloe.
"You wanna come with me right?" She asked. Chloe stayed silent and thought about it. She really wanted to go but she just became closer to Luka and she didn't wanna leave him. 

"Should I go? I mean, I have no friends here other than Luka but I don't wanna leave him! Ugh what should I choose!? I don't even have his number to keep in contact with him.

You know what. 

I'm going. He'll probably just forget about me in a few days anyway." She thought to herself.

"Yes mum, I'll come with you."

"Good. We'll be leaving in two days so you can say goodbye to all your friends. Oh yeah, you'll be spending your years in college in New York as well. So make sure you pack all the things you need."

"Okay mum." 

Zoe looked at Chloe. She wasn't sure if she wanted Chloe to go since she noticed that her and Luka were quite close, and maybe he could change her for the better.

"Are you sure you want this Chloe?"

"Yes. At least I don't have to be with you." 

Chloe ran up to her room. She was feeling quite excited. She didn't have to be with all the people she hated anymore.
