i entered a path and got stuck in
stuck between the place i love and the one ive never been
i withdrew time to choose which is to take
but they got their own flaws and wont give me a break
i got attracted to the thing that sparked my eye
but thought it was selfish for me alone to fly
so the other one spoke, like it was deserving
it pointed at them, it was onto something
holding on or be held, which one is it?
but it was no choice, look how they fit
no i cant choose the dark for their lights to shine
my brightness got conquered and its not fine
but everyone laughed causing me to stop
got held captive cant chase my stuff
so then I looked at it with my vision almost blocked
that was the thing I deserved but never had
