Deleted BlackIce Moment from Chapter 12

Jack's POV

"Now that that's taken care of! Guess what I found out, Jackie," Pitch says, grinning down at me again.

"You found out that you're going to be speaking at the next villain conference." I say dryly, a shadow kicks me in the ribs and I start coughing up some blood.

"No, Jackie, that's not what I found out," he says almost lazily once I finish coughing. "Guess I'll just have to tell you. One of my Nightmares overheard your Guardians coming up with a rescue plan. So, I'm going to make a little trap for them."

"What kind of trap?" I croak out; trying, and failing, to sit up properly.

"You'll just have to wait and see, now won't you Jackie?" He replies, waving his hand.

The next thing I know, the Shadows are grabbing my arms and are dragging me towards Pitch's chair. I notice for the first time that there is an iron loop attached to the side of the armrest. The Shadows take one shackle off so they can loop it through the iron loop; keeping my back to the chairs side and my arms are up above my head a little, and making sure that Pitch can see me.

The Shadows back away and Pitch takes his place in the chair; putting his hand in my hair ruffling it as little as if I was a toddler. "What are you doing, Pitch!" I yell as loud as I can at him; which isn't all that loud.

"Why, I'm getting comfortable, Jackie, I thought you would want to see the Guardians again. This way you get to see there faces when they realise that you are now mine, seeing as you are sitting so nicely next to my throne and all," he says while stroking my hair.

I try to pull my head away but I can't muster up the strength; so I close my eyes and try to ignore it. I eventually fall asleep while Pitch plays with my hair almost lovingly.
