Fallon Kaye had never been the perfect kid, doomed from the day she was born, Fallon Kaye's unperfect life.

Fallon was born on February 29th, 2004, better known as a date that only happens every four years, so if we're really thinking about it Fallon is only three years old. She has only celebrated three birthdays on her actual birthday.

Growing up was difficult for the girl, a Kildare County resident born and raised had its pros but like all things, it also had its cons. As most people knew on Kildare there were two groups, the Pogues and the Kooks, but as many would forget there always had to be a middle ground the ones who didn't fit into either group.

The Anderson family had always been struck with this problem, Lila Anderson (Fallon's mother) was a teacher at Kildare County High School and James Anderson (Fallon's step-father) was a professor at Chapel Hill on the mainland. The family was slightly known on Kildare mostly because Mrs. Anderson was the most chill teacher but because of how young she was no one expected her to have a kid, so Fallon stayed unnoticed, invisible to say the least.

Lila had grown up on The Cut automatically giving her hardships but when she fell pregnant at the mere age of 16, from the careless acts of a touron, she dropped to the lowest level of the Kildare food chain, chum for the sharks. So, with her mom being as young as she was Fallon grew up with a built-in best friend and when she was 10 her mom met the man Fallon would now call her father. Growing up with an absent father daddy issues were 70% of her bloodstream but James became Fallon's favorite person in the world.

Now that Fallon had turned 16 and began high school she struggled with where she fit in, she was neither a Kook nor a Pogue and had pretty much always struggled to find her place within the Kildare cliques. The only person she ever had a true connection with was Topper Thorton.

While Topper may have been the Kook King, perfect hair, perfect house, perfect friends, one thing Topper wasn't perfect at was school. And with both of Fallon's parents being teachers most subjects came to her quickly. So when Topper was struggling in her mother's class, Mrs. Anderson offered Fallon to tutor Topper and that began what Fallon thought would be a friendship lasting forever.

For the summer going into their sophomore year, Fallon spent most days at the Thorton residence. The two would study for about an hour and then depending on the day they'd either swim in his giant pool or lay on his giant couch and watch a movie on a giant screen. All of this seemed normal to the girl she'd known Topper since she was little never having a super close friendship with him but she had always admired his kind heart.

As the two spent more and more time together, something developed within Topper that never did with Fallon.

Feelings.

While Fallon thought their innocent touches were just accidents, Topper on the other hand meant the small graze of a hand and when he sat a little bit closer to her while watching the Breakfast Club for the sixth time that month, these were all intentional but there was one thing Topper didn't know about Fallon.

Fallon was the Kildare County closeted lesbian.

From the moment she was four years old watching Tinkerbell her attraction to the water fairy with midnight hair grew. Fallon had never thought twice about her sexuality, most of the time she thought the utter idea of the male species was horrific.

As Fallon grew into her sexuality most parties were spent with teenage girls who wanted to experiment or explore their sexuality. Fallon never blinked at any of the girls only really enjoying the release of hormones.

Topper ended up finding out about Fallon's attraction to the same sex, which surprise surprise Topper did not take lightly. From outing her to everyone he possibly could to calling her slurs, Topper was a Grade A douche.

And that's where our story begins...Fallon beginning her junior year with a lack of knowledge of where she belonged. Topper Thornton being the homophobic asshole that she never expected him to be. And having no idea what the upcoming year had in store.
