Chapter One

INT. TRY NOT TO LAUGH SET - DAY

The cast are finishing up with another " Try Not To Laugh ".

Shayne, 5'10", walks out holding a red phone. Noah is seated on the stool.

" Hi, Domino's? You're my favorite pizza place."

Noah bursts out in extreme laughter.

" Hahahaha, Shayne, that's the greatest joke of all time Shayne! "

Everyone runs out.

" This has been another Try Not To Laugh! " Damien exclaims.

" Make sure to- " Kimmy begins

In unison, they all say, " Like and Subscribe! "

From off-screen, a director yells,

" ANNND CUT. "

The gang continues to laugh and pat each other on the back.

" Great job guys! Another great day of filming Smosh Pit videos with my BEST friends " Shayne smiles.

" That's right, I couldn't ask for a better group of friends, who are only friends and nothing more! " Jackie exclaims happily.

" Friends and NOTHING more! " Damien laughs.

" To friendship! " Noah says.

" TO FRIENDSHIP! " They all say in unison, before leaving set.

As everyone walks off, Shayne stays to clean up. Jackie, who is five feet, nine inches tall lingers behind.

" Great job today Shayne! " Jackie says.

" Oh, you too Jackie! " He returns, pushing his hair back bashfully.

" You looked really cute today while making your jokes. " Jackie flirted playfully.

Shayne gasps, looking around to see if anyone heard that comment. " Jackie, be careful! The others might overhear and then....find out! "

" Oh? Find out what? " She replies innocently.

" That you and I are secretly... " Shayne averts his gaze. " More than friends."

" I know I know. It's just so hard to keep it a secret. " She says with worry, before looking up at her more than a friend with loving eyes. " I just love being more than friends with you. "

" Me too. " He admits. " But NO ONE can find out. Anyways....I should go. "

Before he exits, he gives Jackie a sly smile and a wink.

Noah, who is 6'5'', enters.

" Hey, did I leave my phone in here? "

" Oh yeah I got it. "

Jackie pulls out Noah's phone from her back pocket, but when she hands it to Noah, their hands touch and linger for a moment.

The look into each other's eyes with a deep intensity.

They brush it off and look away.

Silence fills the air for a few moments longer until Noah breaks it.

" How long can we keep this a secret, Jackie? "

" I don't know! " Jackie says, voice twisted with sorrow. " But it gets harder everyday. I just...I like you much more than a friend. "

" Me also as well. " Noah blurts out. " I love...holding hands, and hugging longer than friends should."

" It's so hard Noah, I just- " Jackie stops herself.

" What Jackie? " He urges.

" I lo- "

Damien, who is 5'2'', enters.
