27)Necklace

Mystic Falls high
3rd Person:

The four of them: Chris, Bonnie, Caroline, Elena are standing in front of the school "Here we are. Senior year" Caroline says. They are moving up in their personal school lives and nearly coming to the end as they are on there last year

"Anyone else think this should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asks a little disappointed in how there lives are going recently

"Yeah it doesn't feel like were even growing. I feel kinda stuck I'm not going to lie. At least im back though" Chris says

Caroline just looks at them all sadly and huffs "Okay, so prank night was a bust. But we are accepting it and we're moving on because it's a new year and Chris is here just in time so it's not all bad" She tries to lighten the mood

"You're right. Why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing a ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie says sarcastically with a hint of sadness

Caroline piles onto the sarcastic sadness train "Yes. And why should I let the fact my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day?"

"Exactly. Why should we all let the fact that there's people who we can't get rid of just running around town doing whatever they want distract us from getting a somewhat good education this year" Chris points out, he also thinks about Elijah and that Kol guy who are currently being trapped by Klaus in his fancy coffins, but keeps that to himself as they don't need to know all of his thoughts that flow through his mind

As they walk towards the school they noticed that Elena has stopped moving "Today's our anniversary" She says making them stop in there tracks and then turn to look at Elena who is in thought "Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year" She says sadly

"Yeah you win" Caroline says

Chris creases his eyebrows "What! How is an anniversary of an ex worse than semi-dead actual boyfriend and boyfriend who has ghost ex's he can see. No offence Elena but yours isn't as bad as some of the other things going on" They all agree with his statement and head to school

Through the day Stefan has been stalking Elena on Klaus's orders since he is compelled by him. Bonnie is still having Jeremy girlfriend ghost troubles and Tyler is acting weird. Rebekah has also invaided there history lessons and sports classes to annoy them all. Damon has also found out that Tyler has been sired to Klaus so he will do whatever Klaus asks which could be very big trouble if anything happens and they need to keep it from getting to Klaus

Bonnie called Chris to come to the creepy mansion that the dead witch spirits used to reside at. She wanted him since more trouble is stiring up with the ghosts

They walk down the basement stairs because Bonnie wants to do a spell that reveals the ghost matter which makes it so they can be seen by people in the real world. Caroline lights up the candles around the dark basement while Bonnie shows Chris what spell they need to do. After a little bit the wind picks up as they do the spell, holding one of eachothers hands, things in the room start to shake then Bonnie and Chris feel someone holding their hands, they open their eyes to see Grams kneeling infront of them

"Omg, Grams" Chris breaths out in emotion since he can't believe he is seeing his Grams. Again, since he saw her when he did that other spell but didn't get to speak to her since she basically shoved him back into his body

Bonnie starts to cry in happiness of seeing her Grams "I can't believe you're here"

Grams nods and smiles "Now, stop your crying. We don't have time for tears" She then looks to her right "Nice to see you again, Caroline" Caroline responds with a greeting and a smile. Grams then gets serious with her grandchildren "A fine mess you are making, little ones" She looks towards Bonnie "The witches told you honey there'd be consequences to bringing Jeremy back and you did it anyway"

Bonnie quickly responds emotionally "I didn't have a choice. I love him and I couldn't let him go"

Grams nods nicely "I understand. But you cracked open the door to the other side. There's an old witch over here. She took advantage of it. She took advantage of you, honey. And when you sent Vicki Donovan away she wedged it open giving a free pass to anybody with unfinished business" She then looks at Chris "And you. Getting involved with Original business and bringing yourself over here. What were you thinking"

"I had to. Our friends were in trouble and someone had to do something, but it worked so it wasn't for nothing" Chris explained

"How do you know this?" Bonnie asks

"Witches talk. Even on the other side. Who do you think makes all the rules?" Caroline smirks and laughs 

"What does that witch even want?" Bonnie asks her to try and get answers

"All that is Original vampire business. Not any of yours. So stay out of it, expecially you Chris I've seen what you've been up to. Now, I'm here because you've both upset the balance of nature. And it's your duties to set it right, too close the door" Grams explains to them to make them set things right once and for all

While Caroline informs Elena since Grams says that they need the necklace that she has the three Bennetts look through the spell book to see how to destroy it

Since Elena though other activities were more important than sending vengeful witches away for good. Chris, Bonnie and Caroline had to take it upon them to search for it. But after looking high and low they couldn't find it. Caroline went investigating via the phone and concluded that Jeremy's ghost ex-girlfriend Anna stole the necklace

Eventually Jeremy found the necklace, that girl: Anna, the ghost stolen it so Bonnie and Chris went back to the creepy house to set up candles ready for the spell. Jeremy joins them in the basement with a very unhappy looking Bonnie. Jeremy holds the necklace in his hand and Bonnie just stares at it so chris walked towards them and snatched it away from Jeremy and throws it into the lit fireplace

Bonnie walks over and holds his hand and they start the spell to destroy the witches talisman: the necklace. Bonnie feels a hand in her free one and sees Grams helping them with the spell. Eventually the flames in the fireplace burst and shoot up and the necklace is gone for. Burned and scolded to a crisp

Grams speaks up in the silence "You are both stronger. Stronger than all of this. I am so, so proud of you two" Grams then disappears since she is a ghost on the other side disappearing with all the rest of them

Bonnie and Jeremy start to argue which forces Jeremy to leave since she didn't want him there anymore. Chris walks over and holds her in his arms, trying to comfort her

A noise sparks from behind them, the fireplace explodes in flames. Bonnie walks towards it and sees that the necklace has returned to its original form "Omg" She whispers "Chris, look" She points and when Chris views where his sister is pointing his eyes widen seeing the thing that they destoyed has returned
