Chapter 12

Dead

~ Johnnys Perspective ~

I've spent weeks locked up in a cell— I couldn't believe my own friends would do this to me! But today was different...Conner visited me— but with an upset face

I rolled my eyes at him "what are you sad about now" I muttered while throwing a ball against the wall and catching it, then repeating the same motion

"Annie....."

As soon as I heard her name I stopped playing with the ball and looked at Conner with a straight face, trying to act like I wasn't that worried "what happened!!"

"We uhmm...have reason to believe she's dead"

It felt like my whole life stopped, I know I had stabbed Annie but it was never my intention to kill her!! I would never want her to die!

"What do you mean believe??? You guys weren't with her!??!!" I yelled at him out of anger

"Annie wanted to get out of the Mafia world, so she got a boyfriend that goes to collage and started going to school with him...then she uhmm got pregnant—

I interrupted Conner "SHE GOT PREGNANT?!!!" I yelled even louder this time. Conner ignored me and kept going

"Hayden did not like that so he killed the guy and killed the baby by torturing Annie...and we got a text now saying that Annie was dead..." Conner says with a low voice

"Let me out!!!! NOW!!!!" I was so anger but not at Conner or Carson! At Hayden!!!!

"I'm sorry...I can't do that—

Conner said as he started to walk away "NO!!!! CONNER DON'T YOU DARE— FUCK YOU!" I yelled

I didn't care about what it took to get out of this call, as long as I made sure that Annie was alive, there's so fucking way she's dead! She doesn't deserve to die!

I dislocated my shoulder to stretch it and yelled in pain...it hurt...but my only focus was getting to Annie. I grabbed the keys and put my shoulder back in place while screaming in pain again, I finally unlocked the cell and got out

I grabbed a gun and made sure it had bullets. That's when I started to track Hayden down, Conner and Carson were so fucking stupid, Hayden was so easy to track

I grabbed my Mafia and headed to Haydens location, he was at a hotel, so I kicked the door open and heard the shower running "stay here" I tell the Mafia as I slowly went in

"What was that" someone said— it was Hayden, that's when I kicked open the door and saw Annie and Hayden showering together, she was smiling until she had seen me

"What the fuck!" I yelled as Hayden continued to hug Annie naked. Annie hid behind him, I could tell she was scared, and she should be

"I don't understand! He hurt you!!!!" I said gripping onto my gun harder. "I didn't hurt her, my mafia did, I was the one that brought her to your door step" Hayden says while slowly kissing Annies forehead

"But Conner said—

Before I could finish my sentence Annie cut me off. "I asked Conner to tell you I was dead so you would stop looking for me and I could run away with Hayden" She muttered

"B-But you chose me!" I mumbled. "Guess she changed her mind" Hayden said with a smirk. I shot Hayden in the head where he instantly died "HAYDEN" Annie yelled kneeling down while I watched tears slowly start to go down her cheeks

"Don't EVER try to double cross me again—

I was in the middle of threatening Annie until she grabbed a knife and threw it to my stomach where I fell down looking at her in shock. She didn't even hesitate to throw it at me

"I've killed people too, and I may not like it but I sure as hell will enjoy killing you" she says with a type of stare I have. It's like she was turning into me...I looked into her eyes and saw angry...what have I done

She grabbed her clothes and put them on, what she didn't know was my Mafia was with me, I watched as she stabbed about ten people, they weren't died until she went over and cut there heads off

"No no!! Please! I have a kid! A family!!!" One guy said in fear. But Annie didn't care... "aw that's sweet, you think you can change my mind" she says as she stabbed him ten more times...permanently killing him

I looked at her in fear, not because I was scared of getting hurt or dying, I never cared about that...but because I realized what I had done to her when I put that bullet in Haydens head...

"Now, for you, I have something different planned" she said as she picked me up and threw me on the floor outside the washroom

She poured some sort of liquid all over me and grabbed a lighter "Hayden didn't deserve you..." I mumbled in a low voice. But she heard it, I could tell because she had stopped and looked at me— still with anger though

"What did you just say"

"I may not have deserved you but Hayden doesn't either, you think he's a good guy? Everyone in this fucking Mafia shit is selfish" I said looking up at her as she started to lighter again. "He never deserved to die—

I cut Annie off because I knew I had a little time before she burned my alive. "YES HE DID!! He's killed kids because he was bored he's killed wife's and people who had partners because he didn't believe in love" i was going to continue on talking but Annie interrupted me by yelling "YOU DID THOSE THINGS TOO!"

I stayed silent because she wasn't wrong. Annie continued on talking "you deserve to die more than anyone in this Mafia business" that's when she lighted the rope on fire, that's attached to me

I didn't try to escape or move, just starred Annie in the eyes giving her the satisfaction of burning me alive
