Y/n POV

As I sit at my desk, I just finish an over the phone conference call and respond to some emails. That was short lived though when my cell phone started to ring. I pull it out of my pocket and see Madison's caller ID display on the screen

"Hey Madison" I answer

"Did you see?" She asked me

"Did I see?" I asked

"Yea, did you see?" She asked

"What am I supposed to be seeing exactly?" I asked

"I sent you the finished song" she told me

"What song was that? I'm sorry" I apologized for not being able to remember

"Spinnin" she replied

"Right! Okay I have it right here" I said pulling the file up on my computer

"Listen to it" she said

"I am, I am" I laughed at her eagerness

I clicked play and soon the song began

"Madison" I said

I listened carefully as she began to sing

"Madison..." I said again

"You hate it?" She asked

"Hate it? How could anyone hate this?" I asked

"So you like it?" She asked

"Madison, don't even ask dumb questions right now when you literally sound like that" I told her

Her laugh rang through the phone

"Fuck" I said once the song finished

"Good?" She asked

"I love it! I think it's definitely going to have to be on repeat" I said honestly

"If you love this one, just wait" she teased

"Oh don't tease me. You know I love your music" I said

She laughed

"When are you going to release it?" I asked

"When do you think I should?" She asked me

"Whenever you want" I replied

"You have no specific date?" She asked

"I don't care when you release it as long as you do. The world needs to hear this" I said

"So I could totally release it this month if I want?" She asked

"I think you should totally release it this month... if you want" I told her

"Then maybe I will" she said

"Then maybe I'll add it to my playlist" I said

"You know I always love your support" she told me

I smiled even though she couldn't see it

"I'll talk to you soon, alright?" She asked

"Alright" I agreed

"Bye, Y/n" she said with a smile evident in her voice

I said my final goodbyes and when the line went dead, I played the song again. I couldn't believe how much her voice had grown in such a short period of time and at such a young age. As the song came to and end once more, my office phone started ringing

"Hey Samantha" I answered

"Miss Rapp is here, should I send her up?" She asked me

"Oh uh, I'll actually come down and get here" I said
