The Distance Between runs concurrently and is connected to my other Nancy Drew AU, It Wasn't Personal. Both stories have their own separate plot, so you won't need to read both, but I would recommend it to get the full picture. They will connect more in later chapters.
Season 3 of Nancy Drew picks up only a week after season 2 ended. This story is supposed to take place around that time too, so I guess this is now an AU of season 3. Because of that, I might include some elements from the show, but the main plot will still be mine. I did move the timeline back a few weeks, so it matches with winter break for most universities in the United States.
