"He still cares for you, a lot. Trust me Todoroki-kun, " Momo comforted as she gently pat his back while he cried in her arms yet again. It pained Momo's heart to see Todoroki looking so depressed but she knew there was nothing she could do. Bakugou needs to decide what he wants and learn to express himself properly in order to keep the people he want by his side 

"Todoroki-kun...rise and shine!" Momo gently shook Todoroki to wake him up with a glass of warm strawberry milk in her hand 

Todoroki groaned and tiredly woke up, rubbing his eyes and looking sorta pale. "Todoroki-kun, did you not had a good sleep last night?" Momo asked and instead of replying, Todoroki just went to get changed

Afterwhich, Momo brought Todoroki down for breakfast and just as she placed a plate of breakfast down onto the table for Todoroki, she realised he slept with his head buried into his tiny little arms onto the table 

"Todoroki-kun....are you alright-" Momo gasped in surprise at the burning heat she felt from Todoroki's forehead

"SOMEONE HELP! TODOROKI IS BURNING UP!!" Momo screamed in desperation

"This child needs ample rest. His fever was caused by being exposed to prolonged period of stress, please make sure to prevent the child from experiencing any form of stress again or his fever could worsen," Recovery girl advised. Everyone of class 1-A were present in the room except Bakugou

"Poor child...Where's Bakugou anyway! How dare that bastard not turn up!" Uraraka stomped her feet on the ground feeling angry for Todoroki

"That stuck up kid tch-" Denki commented and everyone else in the room remained silent, not knowing whether to root for Bakugou or Todoroki. It wasn't their place to comment anyways

Bakugou heard it. He heard them all. The entire time he stood outside the infirmary his hands clenched into a tight fist, his nails digging into his flesh and he bit his quavering lip in hopes of stopping them from shaking so much

"Take a break for today and tomorrow, there's not much for now, just remember to train harder once you're back" Aizawa-sensei advised knowing that there's no easier way. They will have to find their way back to each other if its meant to be

Recovery girl was quick to usher everyone out and back to class as if sensing Bakugou's presence.  "Easy on him, he's just a child...hmph!" She warned and left as well leaving only Bakugou in the hallway and Todoroki in the ward. Everything was so silent the only sound left was the beeping of the heart rate monitor. 

*Flashback to before Todoroki became a child*

"What are you doing here?" Bakugou scowled while helping himself with the water dispenser in the cafeteria

"Couldn't sleep. You?" Todoroki asked

"I'm gonna beat your ass tomorrow," Bakugou proudly challenged Todoroki in the physical test that will be held the next day during Aizawa sensei's gym lesson

"Childish. You woke up midnight just to tell me that," Todoroki scoffed and helped himself with a packet of strawberry milk in the fridge

"BASTARD what did you call me?!" Bakugou jumped at Todoroki wanting to snatch his strawberry milk away

Todoroki was caught off guard and lost his balance, pulling Bakugou along with him as he fell backwards

"THAT HURTS BASTARD!" Bakugou groaned in pain as he hit his head right smack onto the ground

"Idiot! Why would you do that?!" Todoroki scolded and that shock Bakugou because for the first time, he saw emotions behind those turquoise eyes; anger , confusion and a small tint of concern

"I'm fine..." Bakugou guiltily admitted, his eyes darting around looking at everywhere except striaght at Todoroki. Anything would do so long as it's not the half n half who he apparently was sitting on right now

Confused. Both of them didn't know why but doing what their instincts told them to felt so right...yet so wrong... 

*End of flashback*

Bakugou took slow but heavy steps, sitting by Todoroki's side and slowly, gently, caressing his soft half red half white hair. "B-Baba..." Todoroki woke up almost instantly after catching a whiff of Bakugou's scent

"I'm here." Bakugou carefully pulled Todoroki into his arms. Within seconds Todoroki's emotions gave away and he burst into tears crying as if his life depends on it. "Baba..dwon leeawve *sob* am sowwiee" Todoroki held on to Bakugou's clothes as tightly as he can 

"I'm sorry as well..." Bakugou whispered inaudible slowly rocking the poor small bean back and forth and humming the lullaby his grandma used to sing to him when he was little. It seemed to work real well because Todoroki soon fell into a peaceful slumber, his hands tightly holding onto Bakugou's shirt and his face burried deep into Bakugou's oddly warm embrace 

Bakugou, with one hand carrying Todoroki, used his other hand to pack up some of the little guy's things and bringing him back to their own room. During their mini cold war, Bakugou really put in the effort to get rid of everything and anything related to Ashley. The picture in the picture frame on Bakugou's table had been changed into a we-fie Todoroki tried to take using Bakugou's phone while he was sleeping one day. 

There was a plain orange coloured adult towel for Bakugou and a smaller cream colured towel with small teddies on it that he got for Todoroki. The small snack corner was no longer filled with just spicy crackers and cup noodles but in addition, strawberry flavoured oreo and packets of strawberry milk for Todoroki. 

Todoroki woke up from all the walking and stairs climbing, his eyes shot open and he panicked, looking around frantically until he realised he was still in Bakugou's arms; it wasn't just a dream. "Phew...baba...dwon go..." Todoroki nuzzled his face back onto Bakugou's chest and surprsingly Bakugou felt a warm fuzzy feeling in his heart 

"You stupid moron, stop acting like I'm close with you," Bakugou scowled even though he clearly just held Todoroki even tighter, his actions complete opposite of his words. "Baba stwupid! Baba likey bwitchy biwitchy!" Todoroki arugued putting Bakugou into a shock 

"WHO TAUGHT YOU THAT-" 

"Momo...ehe~ bwitchy bwitchy baba!" Todoroki's face revealed a small smile causing Bakugou to internally facepalmed himself 

'I'm gonna murder Yaoyaoruzu for teaching this brat nonsense!'

HEYYOOOOO okays short and sweet chap~ i know i shud hv made this longer but i juz recently got back onto writting and my engine juz kinda warming up still woopsssss. Ive taken a long ass break yessss, dealing with life, exams and procrastination phew! Long break i dont expect much people to still be here rooting for this book but damn id be so happy if any of yall actually waited.  Cant wait to read every single comment yall left since i left (i actually do read everyth) and damn its juz a energy booster :) I will be doing up another draft soon i wont promise when but i wanna go read up some fanfics and turn that switch on for my brain first before i start drafting the next chap.
