After the vampire councils lecture Frost about Blade and Nightingale, he went to the library for the ancient history research of La Magra. While he was waiting to load up the ancient scrolls on the computer, he sat down on the ground listening to his music and remembering thirteen-year-old Alina and didn't realize she was at the vampire clubhouse as Nightingale until now.
