The Dance

After your ridiculously fast power walk to your room and decide to get ready for the party you decide to quickly shower to freshen up and then you begin curling your hair into loose waves then you pull out your make up and get too work you want to look both sexy and elegant and not wear too much.. you re do it about 6 times till your happy with it then you walk back out and pick your dress up you slip it on and look at yourself in the mirror

wow you whisper to yourself for the first time in your life you like the way you look you play with your hair I look like my mom you say softly you walk to your nightstand and pick up the picture and look at your mom you run your thumb over her face before holding it to your chest I miss you I havent forgotten what today is Im just trying not to fall apart you say out loud. You have to blink back tears to stop yourself ruining your make up you place the picture down gently and walk to your shoes you pull out a black pair of chunky heels that lace up the leg... also a gift from Nat and you put them on... you walk back to the mirror and turn around a few times before you decide you like it then you walk to your jewellery and slip on a little silver bracelet and earrings you spray some perfume and then decide to leave feeling confident and a little sexy you hold your head up as you head down to the function room.. as you get to the stairs you stop and look around trying to find a familiar face you look to the bar and see them all grouped together to you head over when they spot you and look over you hear them, and it makes you giggle

Mya ?! Steve says shocked

where is the rest of your dress little bow! Dont you look spider Thor says warning Peter

erm... its too late I looked wow mya  you look wow you giggle more as Peter looks you up and down, he grins

nope and no where did you get that dress you Dad stares at you and you look to Nat for support

you look absolutely stunning Mya. if you guys dont shut up and stop embarrassing her, I will personally see non-of you use them again she points to each of their trousers before smirking ruin tonight for her and watch she winks at you and sips her drink all the guys look at each other before nodding and keeping quiet you mouth thank you to Nat and then step closer to Peter

well this party Is amazing right you say looking him up and down you look very handsome Peter, would you like to dance? you ask him politely looking down shyly when he doesnt answer right away you look up and see him looking at your Dad and the others Peter Im asking you not them you grab his hand and head for the dance floor forget them they are silly you say smiling at him when you get to the dance floor Peter pulls you close to him

you know you look super beautiful its hard to concentrate on dancing he whispers in your ear. You smile feeling heat rise in your cheeks he looks into your eyes and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear you feel the butterflies intensify in your stomach you feel a little light headed as you place your arms around his neck he holds your waist more tightly then he did upstairs and you like this better Im sorry about earlier you whisper as you look at him he smiles and spins your around before guiding you around the dancefloor this dance is different then the one upstairs it feel more like floating the whole time it feels more intimate and like no one else is there the way he holds you makes your heart race. He pulls you so close now and then dips you down you giggle and he grins but then he kisses you. its soft and sweet and it shocks you.

oh, erm Im sorry I just was that ok? Peter asks a little shocked at himself too, he pulls you back up and you both stand there unsure what to do

no dont be sorry I liked it. I wanted you too., oh wait are they all watching? Peter peeks round you and looks

erm yeah. are they going to kill me? he looks at you nervously

no but they might kill me you reach up and kiss him hard pulling him closer to you and wrapping your arms round him. When you pull away youre both grinning definitely worth dying for you giggle you two dance some more before you head back to the bar for drinks Peter is nervous about what everyone will say your not though your deliriously happy and a little lightheaded
