Revelations

We begin right where the last episode ended off. Matt, Ryan, and Liz are sitting in the car and Liz looks confused.

Liz: I'm sorry, say that again?! You think my mom is alive?

Matt: I'm not entirely sure. There were a bunch of mugshots of people and they all had red x's on them except for your mom. But i did manage to get this before i left.matt sticks up the flash drive. LIz looks at him with excitement and instinctively reaches into the back seat and hugs Matt.

Liz: my mom's alive!  i can't believe this! Calms down a bit. Okay so let's go find my mom. We then cut to the three of them huddled around Matt's computer. He's plugging in the flash drive. Matt looks to Liz with concern for his friend.

Matt: liz, don't get your hopes up okay? I don't want you to be disappointed. They exchange a lingering look

Liz: Matt I have to know, you would do the same if it were about Sam.

Matt: fair enough. They download the data and begin to see documents flash on screen. Newspaper clippings about several deaths. Woah, do you think they covered all these deaths up?

Liz: I don't know but try and look for something about another location. You guys said that Alyssa girl told you guys about a plan to move her right?

Matt: yeah, she seemed pretty certain that it was going to happen soon.

Liz: Is she out yet? Maybe she can look at this stuff and see if anything rings a bell.

Matt: good idea, let me call the hospital really quickly. Matt gets up and takes his phone out to call the hospital. Oh ryan maybe you should talk to them, it'll be less weird if you call about her.

Ryan: takes the phone. Sarcastically. Look at you using your head. Give it here. Slight pause. Hey Evelyn, its doctor Solovan, I'm just calling to check on a patient that came in yesterday. I believe her name was Alyssa mcdonald. Thank you. Talking to matt and liz. We should get some food, I'm starving.

Matt: rolls his eyes. You're always hungry, will you focus.

Ryan: ok geez, i'm just saying it's hard to do so much work on an empty stomach. The voice finally speaks to him. Im sorry? Are you sure? Well who authorized that? Ok thank you.

Matt looks at his brother questioningly.

Matt: What's up?

Ryan: looks confused as he hangs up the phone. They told me that she was let out this morning. Apparently they felt that she wasn't at risk.

Matt: Well the two guards on duty seem to say otherwise. Is she okay?

Ryan: i don't know. He puts on his jacket. I'm gonna head over and see what I can dig up. Matt begins to speak but Ryan cuts him off. I'll let you know if I find anything. Get some burgers and save me one. You know how I like it. He leaves, shutting the door behind him. Matt and Liz are still in the room trying to make sense of what happened. Finally liz speaks up.

Liz: looks at Matt with skepticism. I didn't know you cared about her that much.

Matt: lost in thought, finally snaps out of it. Huh? Sorry. I don't care about her, i mean not more than i should

Liz: And how much should you care?

Matt: defensively. I don't know. I just feel bad that she went through that. Sees liz's look. Oh shut up. Let's keep looking. He turns back to the computer. Liz keeps looking at Matt briefly with a hint of sadness. She turns to the computer. Hold on, I think I found something.
