~Y/N P.O.V.~

Today we decided to turn on the TV while breakfasting. The news were running in the background as a specific topic was brought up:"Yesterday at around 11pm were found 10 missing female corpses. They were all killed in a brutal way. To all citizens, especially women, please be careful out there. This is the 4th time a mass murder happened. The ages of the women that got killed are between 13-20 years. Everyone, be careful out there and dont walk alone."

Miu and I looked at each other, terrified. The group chat of our class mates in it exploded,

I looked over at Miu, even though she replied in a carefree way she was really worried. I took her hand,"Hey Miu. If you want to we can stay home until the situation cools down." She just shrugged her shoulders,"You know you can be afraid of stuff like that. You don't need to hide your feelings and act all carefree because you know... death can be scary, especially since you don't know what will happen once you die."

*bzzt bzzt*

A notification from our student E-Handbook.

Due to the mass killing that happened the past few weeks we are telling the students of Hope's Peak Academy to be freed from the exams. Obviously, the well being of our students is more important than exams. Everyone, please stay calm and safe since we never know when the killer might start killing again.

As we read through the message I saw Miu trying to stay calm even more. The exams that are canceled for the time being gave us more time to think about this situation. I went over to Miu and hugged her,"Miu you don't need to worry while we're home okay? We're safe here, I promise." Miu hugged me back, obviously everyone in this situation would be afraid. I mean the person has killed about 45 people now and no one knows what their goal is.

After some time Miu let go of the hug,"Wanna watch some TV to get distracted a little bit?" She asked me, I nodded. We opened up Netflix and turned up a series, 'Girl from Nowhere'. (A/n: I just finished it and its amazing. Definitely recommend.)

The girl went on and destroyed one person's life after another. Some things in there were gory but in general really nice. I think it helped Miu distract a little bit from our current situation. We watched the series in a marathon and like that it turned dark really quickly. It was around 11pm when I got bored and tired so we went upstairs to sleep. (A/n: Btw I'm not talking of experience, my sleep schedule is fucked up. Like really. Fucked. Up.)
We quickly drifted off to sleep, cuddling in each others arms.

~Miu P.O.V.~

*crack*

After a while of sleeping which wasn't really long I heard a loud sound from downstairs. I woke up to that sound and quickly sat up.

*crack*

After hearing it again I shook Y/n rapidly as they rubbed their eyes and sat up,"W-What-? What's going on? Why did you wake me up?" They asked. I shushed them really quickly as another sound was hearable. "Did you hear that?" I asked them. They froze immediately as they heard it too. "Do you think someone broke in?" They asked as they got closer to me. "I don't know. Maybe?" I answered. "We need to call the police. Let's head to the bathroom and lock both doors." They suggested as I nodded.

I went up to the door of our room and locked it, quickly going to the bathroom and locking that door too. They held our phone as we both tried to call the police. "No service-?" They asked as they looked at me. "I don't have service either.." I said as I slightly started to panic. "Do you think they maybe cut it off before entering here?" They asked me. "Yeah probably." I said.

We slowly heard footsteps approaching the door of our room. "Fuck.." I mumbled as I motioned to the bathtub to hide in there. They nodded and we both went in there. As we crawled in we heard that whoever got into this house broke the rooms door. I hung onto Y/n really quickly. I'm scared... I dont want to die yet..

The person that got into our room now broke down the bathrooms door too. The person was breathing heavily as I froze. They were looking around for a bit until we heard footsteps finally head away. I let out the breath I held and sighed in relief.
"Got you." They said as they stabbed us. I swear their face faintly... is that... Kork-?

~Y/n P.O.V.~

Miu screamed as she jumped off the bed, visibly sweating. I woke up and jumped off to her side. "Miu what happened??" I asked her. "I-... I-... It was another nightmare-- t-that serial killer broke into our house and k-killed us!" She yelled as she was breathing heavily. "Miu it's okay! It was only a dream! Look I'm here... you're here... and no one is in the house." Miu looked around as she slid down the wall. "Oh my fucking god.."

Well anyways I'm going to change the entire famfic to they/them when someone talks about Y/n since I use she/they pronouns and everyone only uses she. OK. And that's annoying so yall will be able to read a daily dose of people calling you by they/them :3
