When NCT 127 manager's gets his friends daughter (Michi Kinoshita) a job working as an assistant manager for NCT Dream but she seems to catch their eyes in a different way.

"Miss Kinoshita, may you come with me" one of my higher up state
"Of course sir" I get up from my desk
I follow him to a meeting room. The whole time we walk in silence, I worry that something bad has happened or I'm being let go. Once we get to the meeting room, I'm seated to face two more of my higher ups.
"Welcome Miss Kinoshita" the only other woman smiles "I'm Mrs Oh"
"Thank you for having me" I bow "but if I'm being honest I don't know why I'm here"
"Well you see there is a position opening up soon, following the retirement of Mr Choi here" the one who walked with me ushers to to Mr Choi. I nod before he carries on "you both have met I believe"
"A couple times in the office" I reply
"He says you're a hardworking young lady" he says
"Very" mr Choi nods "and I'm sure NCT Dream's manager will agree and Dream"

"Oh that's too kind" I blush
"Not at all" Mr Choi laughs
"Well because of this Mr Choi has requested for you to take on his job" Mrs Oh smiles
"Really?" I burst out with shock "sorry, is that so?"
"Yes dear" she smiles
"And with you being Japanese that would make you great for abroad marketing" Mr Choi nods
"That is very true" the other guy Mr Park agrees "what do you think? Of course you will have to start training shortly after accepting"
"Right... what will happen with my position currently. If I accept I can't have NCT Dream being left in bad hands" I worry "if I do accept can I do training and my job at the same time until they have a good enough replacement. So they're not left hanging"
"That can be arranged" Mrs Oh grins
"Is that a yes?" Mr Choi asks
Before I answer my watch goes off to tell me it's time to go pick up Chenle from his radio show.
"May I get back to you" I stutter
"Of course." Mrs Oh nods "somewhere to be?"
"I have to collect Mr Chenle" I start to stand
"You may go" Mr Park ushers his hand to the door
"Thank you" I bow before hurrying out the door.
Due to lack of traffic I get there earlier than normal. I sit back in the car with the offer running through my head, to try and distract myself I decide to walk into the building to wait for Chenle. As I wait I walk back and forth on the spot, but when I notice stares I sit down.

Chenle walks out of the studio, talking to a guest. While I watch him I feel a pit in my stomach, thinking about wanting this new job.
"Oh noona?" Chenle smiles
"Hi" I say spaced out
"You okay?" He walks up to me
"Yeah, I don't know, I should be" I say without thinking "I'm meant to be
"What is it, tell your car buddy" Chenle grabs my arm lightly "let's go to the car"
We head to the car, in complete silence and I can't hide the worried look on my face. We get in and I start the car.
"So what's on noona's mind?" Chenle asks
"I got offered a promotion" I stutter "a new job position"
"That's great!" Chenle cheers before turning quiet "but it means you won't be working with us anymore, doesn't it?"
"Yeah" I sigh
"Aww do you like us that much?" Chenle laughs
"You make working fun" I chuckle weakly
"Are you taking it?" He says seriously
"A part of me wants to but I can't leave you guys hanging" I state
