Suddenly, I felt something warm. Hands? I looked and I realized Mari was hugging me. Basil beside me put his hand on my shoulder. They were both looking at me, but it wasn't out of hate. It was out of love..?
"I'm sorry Sunny. I really am. I shouldn't have pressured you to perfect the duet. I'm really sorry for not realizing how you were feeling."
Basil was there just looking at us, comforting both of us.
Mari looked at Basil apologetically. Then at me.
We all had a big hug, and I (mostly) cried it out.
The friendship and love was nice. I was so happy, it didn't happen again. I prevented this. I put a stop to this.
"I love you Mari." I said, looking at her smiling happily with tears in my eyes.
She looked back at me and smiled warmly again, it was nice looking at her smile. It made everyone happy.
"I love you too little brother." She kissed my forehead and hugged me close.
Basil stood there smiling.
"Thanks, Basil." I said to him quietly.
He looked happy, and hugged me as well with Mari.
The whole gang, Kel and Aubrey and Hero witnessed what had happened as well. They were out the doorway, and they let themselves in.
They saw us, and immediately understood what happened, a whole group hug commenced, and everything was back to normal again.
