Amelia's POV

"well...see you later" I said to Tayler

he sent me a smirk

"so you want to see me later?" he asked still smirking

"w-what?" I asked confused yet nervous

he took three steps closer to me. his body was so close to mine

I looked up at him, while he looked down at me

"you want to see me again don't you?" he asked cockily, in a raspy voice

I cleared my throat and took a step away from him

"I-I meant at school....tomorrow" I said

his smirk widened and he nodded his head 

"sure, good night Lia" he said kissing my cheek softly

my cheeks turned into a bright shade of red

I still can't get used to these small cheek kisses

"good night Tay" I mumbled

he turned around and looked at me with a smirk

"Tay? I like it" he said still smirking

I  smiled and waved to him before walking inside

I was about to knock on the door when it opened

it was my dad

"hey dad" I said smiling at him

"who was that?" he asked ignoring my greeting

my smile dropped and I tried to think of a lie 

"my friend?" I said. it came out more like a question 

"a friend who kisses your cheek?" he asked obviously not believing me

"yeahhhh.....he's kinda...touchy with his friends" I said

he looked at me suspiciously 

it's clear that didn't believe my lie

"so how was your day?" I asked trying to change the subject

he shrugged his shoulders

"normal day I guess. wait! my girlfriend and her daughter are having dinner here tomorrow" he said

"why didn't you tell me earlier?" I asked groaning

"we just decided it today" he said

I let out a sigh and nodded

"yeah whatever. good night" I mumbled before walking to my room

I walked to my closet and searched through my perfectly neat clothes, for some comfy pyjamas

I finally chose one

after wearing it, I put my hair in a messy bun and put my glasses on

I grabbed my favorite book from my shelf and sat on my bed reading it

what? I'm not going to be going through my phone all the time

after a while, I felt tired so I decided to go to sleep

I got up and stretched a bit.
