I felt my lips tug into a smile

Bryan: where we wanted to go?? why?

Sky: we would always say that we were gonna run away there, or in other words "escape", she was my escape

she looked at Brooklyn in, I think his name was Ty or something, in his arms she had her back facing everyone so no one could see her face and she couldn't see Sky cry

Bryan: I just- there's so many- I wanna know everything

Sky: some basics are, her birthday is January 6th, her full name is Brooklyn Amara Williams, her first word was dadda it was to no one particular she just kinda said it

Bryan: can I hold her?

Sky: yea- Brooke this is your daddy, can you say hi

Bryan: how about me and your mom talk while you go to the beach with uncle Chris? if that's okay with you?

I looked at Sky for her approval

Sky: yeah, she just can't swim and doesn't have a suit so only sand

Chris: okay sure, come on Tyson

Brooke: wait momma- can I have a baby brover or siser 

me and Sky exchange looks 

Sky: how about you go play on the beach and we can talk about that later

they left leaving me and Sky alone

Bryan: so...he your boyfriend?

Sky: no hes my best friend

Bryan: oh okay, look Skylyn I love you so much and these past few years have been hell without you, please don't leave again

Sky: I don't plan on it, and I love you too

Bryan: as much as I wanna get back with you- if you don't wanna be together I understand, and i'll respect your decision but I'd like to at least be in Brooklyn's life

Sky: I wanna be with you but I think we should....whats the word-

Bryan: taking it slow?

Sky: no, not that, but I don't exactly wanna go back to the way we were

Bryan: so I can ask you to be my girlfriend?

Sky: you can, and my answer is yes but we need to catch up, a lot has changed, a lot is different

Bryan: yes we will, I've waited long enough to even just be with you, I love you Skylyn

Sky: and I love you my Jersey boy
