6. My first love

Taehyung never believed that anybody could sense butterflies in the stomach, after all, he was studying medicine to believe it. But a little bit he knew it was going to change soon.

It was 10 a.m. on the 2nd floor of his hospital building Taehyung felt butterflies in his stomach, which opened their wings whenever he saw a particular face.

Ah!!!, it can't be just a face Taehyung thinks it's a sculpture for sure.

That sculpture got a name...

Kim Seokjin.

His senior.

Seokjin was wearing formal with a long neatly ironed white apron just like others but that look gave butterflies in Tae's stomach.

It's a crush, a big fat healthy crush that's what it was. But it changed at one point as if it had to.

So here is Taehyung's one-sided first love story!!

Taehyung remembers the day he was standing in OT, to see how cholecystectomy is done. But his eyes only could see those dove eyes that were concentrating on assisting the main surgeon.

He exhaled a little before getting together himself, he turned to see his best friend looking at his crush too with a tease in his eyes, it was not particularly to Taehyung's liking.

" Jimin ah what are you looking at?? You should observe how gallbladder looks !!"

" As if you are not eating seokjin hyung through your eyes. well, I am looking only at his eyes because he has similar eyes my LOML yoongi..."

Taehyung chuckled maybe a little loudly.

" What are you saying?? Whatever, if you want to see your LOML open your phone look at his photos, not Seokjin Hyung"

Taehyung is not ready to believe that he is pouting.

" Don't you think it's time for you to get into action Taehyung?"

Jimin turned to Taehyung blocking his view of Seokjin.

" what's that supposed to mean, also can you move??"

" Congratulations on being the fool of this year, but let me tell you, you are in love, my lord... So get into action"

Jimin turned his back and started concentrating on whatever was going on a mile away table.

Love.....

Well, Taehyung loves the word Love, it is not that he doesn't know about it, just he pretends not to know. Because being in love is scary. Initially, it used to be a transient euphoric feeling whenever he used to see Seokjin, but now, he couldn't understand why he could never produce words in front of this man. Thanks to Jimin for saving his ass every time.

After meeting Seokjin for the first time and getting butterflies in his stomach everything moved on but not him, he got stuck there, questioning, again and again, what he felt for 72 sec because he couldn't eat and sleep properly that night.

Well then he had to attend clinical postings for 2 months and somehow he got blessed to see Seokjin's face for 60 days straight in the morning.

Jimin used to tease him for taking an extra 10 min to get ready,  for studying 3 hours extra in the night just to be ready to impress Seokjin. Well, Taehyung never accepted it. He said he is been accused of things he never did.

For the first 15 days, everything was fun. It felt so good to have a crush on someone. And someone introvert like Taehyung's life suddenly got 360 Watts LED bulbs.
