I'm different
I'm just me,
I can be fat, skinny, petite or long-legged,
I can have a flat nose, sharp chin and everything is hinged,
Or I can have chubby cheeks and cute eyes but still, I can be a fright as
I'm different,
I'm just me.
I have my faults and flares,
I'm not someone's property for them to declare I'm theirs.
I might look black but trust me when I say I have a heart of gold,
I'm an open book, not an object to be sold.
Once you read me you'll find there's much more to me,
Then jackets scarfs and pity accessories.
If I'm not you, it doesn't mean I'm worthless,
I'm different,
I'm just me.
There are no criteria that define my beauty,
No thin waist for girls and no broad shoulders for boys.
No one is low and no one is high,
Boys can cry and girls can fight as
We are different,
We are just us.
When it's my life then it has to be my rules!
Just for your sake I can't ignore our dreams and act like a fool.
So please stop judging as
I'm different,
I'm just me.
