Word Of Honor - A Complete Ending.

Part three.

Once out of the cave, I had made a refuge from a nearby cave where I could live with him.

We entered. I took the wine, we sat down and started drinking, remembering the past and all the good times we had together.

The night fell, and he, as it happened almost every time, was drunk.
I walked him to bed, gave him a kiss on the forehead and stood there, watching him sleep.

He woke up suddenly as if he had been disturbed by some nightmare, and turned his head towards me.

<<Ah Xu.>>

<<I'm here.>> I smiled <<Did you have any nightmares?>>

He nodded his head and then sat up on the bed.

<<Do you want to tell me what you dreamed of?>>

He looked down.

<<Things of the past.>>

I stroked his head.

<<Your parents?>>

<<Yes.>>

I got up and sat on the bed next to him, then shook his hand and smiled at him.
He looked up again and smiled back at me.

<<But even if they are no longer there, I'm  no longer alone as before. Now I have my soul mate with whom to spend the rest of my immortality.>>

He paused for a moment and then brought his face close to mine, still smiling at me.

<<You know, it's been a long time that there is something I would like to do...>>

I looked at him.

<<What?>>

He kissed me.

It was an unexpected kiss, but not an unwanted one.
I stroked his cheek and kissed him in turn, and without even realizing it, we started kissing more and more passionately, only to end up making love.

<<Lao Wen...>> I said almost softly.

<<Yes?>>

I took a moment of courage before saying it.

<<I love you.>>

He took my face in his hands, kissed me and said <<me too. Sorry if it took me so long.>>

<<I must apologize too. It's just that I didn't know if you really felt the same or if you only saw me as a brother.>>

He smiled.

<<Nonsense.>>

And we started kissing again.
