I've been here so long
I've learned how to float
Adapting to my suffering
Despite the waves at my throat
Yet while I can't feel the pain
It's not the only thing that's gone
To withstand drowning below
It was my happiness I pawn
And with it now fading
I feel something taking it's place
The silent touch of loneliness
Had now filled its space
A touch so silent
My heart hadn't felt it at first
Not till the echoing silence
Had created this thirst
This thirst one can't quench
Trapped In an ocean all alone
Yet still I can't help but search
And hope I'm not on my own
