"How shall we go home? Now we are lost in the forest." Emma said sadly.

The parrot said giggling, "Can't you remember there's a dog with us?"

"Oh! Whity, I forgot about your ability to sniff. Let's go home."

"Thank you very much for helping me! If you weren't there, I'd still be in that ridiculous cage. But now I can fly freely in the sky. Goodbye!" Saying that the parrot flew into the beautiful blue sky.

Emma went home with the help of Whity. Her mother was still ill. Emma looked after her mother. Soon, she got well.

Emma told her all about their journey to the witch's house. Their mother was frightened when she was telling it. But when Emma finished, her mother felt proud of her daughter, who had defeated a witch.

"You're a brave little girl, but you should obey your parents. And also, you should tell them what you are going to do." Emma's mother kindly advised her.

Emma agreed to do so afterwards. She lived in her little house with her mother and Whity happily.
