Chapter 10

-3rd POV-

"What? The Super Scary Movie series went up to 5?" A male voice said.

"Up to 7, actually." Junpei corrected.

"For real? The seventh one must be really out there."

"It became a completely different thing by 7. It's not even a parody movie anymore."

"Then what kind of movie is it?"

"Convoluted sitcom plus lineage horror, I suppose?"

"What the heck?"

"By a total fluke, and the grandchild of the main character from 1 ends up living is a shared house with the grandchild of the culprit from 2 and the grandchild of the first person who died in 3, but it turns out it's a hunted house, so they call in a spirit medium. That's the story."

"Sounds boring."

"It bored me to death. Who'd watch something like that?" The male with glasses said.

"What's interesting, though is that the guy from 5 and 6—" Junpei began but was cut off by the door opening.

"Huh? What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you not to use this room because we're making it our club room now?" His bully said.

"B-But you haven't been using it lately so I thought it was fine now." Junpei clarified but the male only knocked over the pile of movies and stepped on one of them, making the three students sitting flinch.

"So?" The other bully said.

"So, well, um..."

The first bully kicked under the table, "Just get out of here already, you cockroaches!"

Junpei's classmates immediately got up and looked at the male, "L-Let's go, Yoshino." Said the bespectacled teen.

Junpei stood up and followed.

"Next time you use it, we'll send you flying!" One of them said.

Another got a text on his phone so he checked, "Oh, score!"

Suddenly, the black haired teen stop in his tracks, making his friends look at him.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" His friend said.

Junpei looked down at his bully's foot, while the male just stared down at him, "What?"

"I'm taking it home."

"Huh?"

The teen then got down and put a hand on the movie that was under the bully's foot.

Junpei looked up at him, "Move your foot."

"Hey, stop it..." His friend said, both getting crouching down and trying to get the male to leave with them.

"I'm taking this home. So could you move your foot?"

Suddenly, he is kicked, making him fly back to the table. He held his face with one hand, while the other held the movie.

"Shit!" Both his classmates said, running out towards the door.

His bully walked towards him then crouched down and put a hand on his shoulder, "Close the door." He said to his friends.

"Roger." He said, going to close the doors.

His bully looked at him and smiled.

Next thing he knew, he was getting beat up.

"I wonder if the first person to say "the opposite of fondness is indifference" went to hell like they should have. It's just not possible that interacting maliciously with others could be more proper than leaving them alone. "The opposite of fondness is hate." Japanese people love that. They like to gloat over complicating a simple answer." Junpei said.
