I've penned down different stories
Of different worlds, and different things

I've penned down thoughts of mysteries
And lovely drinks of honey and silk

But who can tell me?
How the heart seems low and cold?

And if anything seems right,
Then it's how I'm holding up a fight

A fight against my sorrowful heart

A fight against my withering pain

A fight to please my Rabb

And prove that I'm a diamond in the rough

To succeed with the most of good deeds

And so if you leave my sight

I'll still put up a fight
Against my wrongs and with my rights

And so if you leave my world,
Remember you'll always be in my heart

Throughout the thick and thin

And so if your touch is untouched

And if your hugs not taken

I'll still put up a fight
Against these streaming tears in my eyes

For I want to be strong
I want to be brave and right

And I'll still put up a fight

And only He can know what my heart says

And only He knows what I hide

And even though my heart is a shallow shell

He knows there's some light

Oh, He knows there's some light

When people leave and especially in a time where there's distance and uncertainty as to when it will be the next time you meet them, you feel them, you hug them- it's not easy

When people leave and especially in a time where there's distance and uncertainty as to when it will be the next time you meet them, you feel them, you hug them- it's not easy. But at the end of the day, you must and ardently believe that this world is temporary. You might not catch all your moments with that lovely being, you might not have all the experiences you could've had, and maybe you're stuck in the middle of this strand between your hopes and reality which are playing with you and making you think whether your wishes will come true to meet them or no- but honestly, you have to put up a fight.

You have to know and take your time, using it to better yourself for the sake of Allah. What my struggle is may not be yours and this poem is not pointed to one thing specific, it can be anyone in your life- someone you lost, someone you don't have near you, it can be anyone.

But as long as you know that your life is just a series of events that have an end and it's the ending that is supposed to be beautiful, then you must know this grief, sorrow has to end and you must move on. Because once you work harder on yourself with the intention to please Him, once you set your diamond eyes on Jannah - praying for both yourself and your loved ones, know that InshaAllah you'll meet them there as well.

And guess what, that life is eternal. You will be with Allah first, and then your loved ones FOREVER. InshaAllah!
