Peters POV
The feeling of her grabbing onto my hand sent something threw out my body. I don't know how I feel about it. But her younger brother Michael kept running into everything and I ended up holding his hand and not Wendy's.
"Peter, how much further?" Micheal asked with a little yawn.
"Almost there we just have to go past that clock over there." I pointed toward the clock tower.
That's when I saw Wendy freeze. She looked down towards a home that looked like it was under construction.
"That's our old house. Wendy's still having a little trouble with the death of our parents." John whispered. It was very obvious that he didn't want Wendy to hear John. "Ever since that day, she hasn't been the same."
I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?"
As John was about to open his mouth Micheal interrupted, "She hasn't been as happy. It doesn't help that she's the oldest at the porphanage."
"Micheal, it's pronounced orphanage," John said.
"That's what I said! Porphange!" Micheal started to throw a tantrum.
"He can say it however he wants John." I looked at John but I realized it wasn't John who had talked...it was Wendy.
"But..." John stuttered but Wendy cut him off before he could finish his sentence.
"John, it's okay to say things wrong. He is still learning to pronounce things."
"Yeah, John!" Micheal said in a taunting voice. John's face started to get tomato red.
"Whatever. Let's just keep going."John grumbled.
"Okay, it's that second star to the right, and straight onto morning," I said pointing to the star.
----------
Wendy's POV
I looked at our home one last look time. I hadn't seen it since...
"You okay Wendy?" Micheal said in his five-year-old tone.
I had to fake a smile for him. "Of course I am." I could tell that all three of the boys didn't believe me. I didn't care.
That's when Peter started to fly away from me. I could tell that I was slowly falling from the unhappy thoughts I was having. Peter didn't tell us that but, I figured that's what would happen.
Snap out of it Wendy. Think of the memories you shared with your brothers and your parents. Think of the dinners you shared and helping Mom cook them.
That's when I felt a smooth hand grab mine. It was Peter.
"Wendy, you'll be alright. I promise."He reassured me.
"Okay, I believe in you," I said.
"Hold on to me," Peter said. At that moment he started to pull me and I obediently followed him to Neverland.
----------
Peters POV
I had taken Wendy's hand and led her and her brothers to the star to go to Neverland.
"Hold onto each other. If you let go well...it'll be hard for me to get to you again."I said. I heard all three of them gasp and felt Micheal and Wendy's grip on me grow stronger.
As we entered the star I turned to Wendy and saw how she was looking at the stars.
"If you like this you'll love Neverland," I said with a smile. Wendy smiled and this time it wasn't a fake smile but a genuine smile. "Entering Neverland was always the part I hated the most. You'd always get a little dizzy at the end. "
I let go of Wendy and Michael's hands letting them get their balance back. Micheal looked half asleep, which could be well expected from a 5-year-old. John on the other looked like he was fine. Well minus that he was looking down towards the ocean.
"Are u afraid of heights John?" I asked trying very hard not to laugh.
"No...I just didn't know that there was an ocean here. It's beautiful. Well, the view from up here is." John said.
I didn't believe him, his face looked a little green.
I looked at Wendy and didn't realize that I was looking at her when I said, "It truly is beautiful."
--------
Wendy's POV
Did he just...
"I mean the view," Peter said, looking away quickly.
"Yeah, Neverland is quite magnificent." I agreed, a little disappointed that he looked at me when he said beautiful but looked away as I caught him.
"Let me show you where the boys and I are living right now."
"The boys? " I chuckled, "Why not call them something?" I pointed out.
Peter just looked at me confused. "Like what?"
"Um...the..." I stumbled on my own words.
Wendy think! You can do this! Coming up with a simple name shouldn't be this hard! My brain shouted at me.
That's when the idea hit me. "Why not...the Lost Boys?"
Please, please like it. I said repeatedly in my head. I wanted him to like it. He loved Neverland and the group of boys.
"Do you like it, Peter?" I asked.
"I like it! Let's go tell them!" Peter shouted diving right threw the clouds.
"Peter, wait for me!!" Micheal and John shouted in unison.
I chuckled and followed closely behind the boys.
