1) This isn't your regular book clubs, over here, we care about your preference. Therefore, we have different genres and under these genres, we have different groups (due to mature content, etc). Each group has 3 members. Instead of pairing 2 persons together, we decided to make it 3.
2) We also have books in the spotlight (BITS) and book of the month (BOTM). BITS are to be read along with the books assigned to you (3 chapters). While BOTM are books of your fellow group members, who finished the books assigned to them before anyone else. Instead of reading 3 chapters of their book, you would read 4.
How to make your book the BOTM:
Complete your task at least 4 days before the deadline and send us a private message to further inform us.
3) The members in each group will be assigned to:
A) Read 3 chapters each, of the books in their group (Altogether 6 chapters).
B) Read 3 chapters of the BITS.
C) Read an extra chapter of the BOTM (that's if there is a BOTM).
In conclusion, each member in a group are to read 9 (sometimes 10 due to BOTM) chapters in 15 days. If you fail to read the books assigned to you, you will be suspended and given a strike.
Suspended: Your book won't be read until you read the chapters assigned to you.
Strike: Your book can't be the BOTM even when you complete your reading on time.
4) Since this is a book club for people to get valuable feedback and to improve their writing skills, you can make 5 meaningful inline comments per chapter, or make one large comment at the end of the chapter that's at least 5 sentences long, or do both. Your total words of comment per chapter should be at least fifty.
