Every so often Dionysus and Chiron would host a little drinking party with a few friends
Friends being Artemis Apollo Hermes Aphroditie Hephaestus Persephone and sometimes Hades is he wasn't busy

During these little parties they'd drink eat a little food a talk even vent a little on how the other Gods were driving them crazy

This party was on the night before the demis were to depart for their quest

"So the thunder dick really got his lightning bolt out of his ass and let them fly!?" Aphroditie asked after gulping down her first glass of wine as Hephaestus giggled at his wife's choice of words

"Yeah I was surprised he hardly ever bends his own rules" Persephone started as she pours herself a glass "Well unless it's for his own benefit which is quite often...fucking prick..." Takes a sip

"Well what does he get out of this?" Asked Apollo as he eats some fancy cheese

Hades takes a small sip of his wine before explaining "Persea and Perseus were extremely powerful Gods on their own but when the work together the could defeat whole armys of titans with ease so they're pretty valuable to us" He informed with a sad sigh "I just hope when she's back she'll be will at least talk to any of us..."

"What do you mean by that Uncle H?" Dionysus asked as he uncorked a fresh bottle of wine

Hades hesitates for a second before gulping down the rest of his glass "Persea was the first Goddess to ever interact with mortals at the time many of us thought of them as needless creatures and many were angery she lowered herself by associating herself with them" this surprised the younger Gods "Posiden didn't like them sneaking to the mortal realm to mingle with mortals so one day thinking it would make them stay on Olympis he captured a few mortals and gave them to the twins like pets that of course upset them being the compassionate kids they were" Hades explains "But the twins couldn't complain or the mortals would suffer so they kept them and tried to make them as comfortable as possible soon they befriended the mortals especially these two who they both got very close to a savy young librarian named Athanasia and a strong gard called Amarus, soon Perseus and Athanasia had fallen in love as did Persea and Amarus"

"Oooo this is getting good" Aphroditie comments as she pours another glass of wine

"The twins and their lovers kept their relationships secret for as long as they could" Hades continued "...but one day Posiden discovered his children's lovers he was furious" Hades voice became darker "My brother would have kill both of the mortals if the twins haden't begged him not too so he simply sent the young mortals but that didn't stop the lovers from sending eachother messages through the followers the twins had gained"

"How did they gain followers?" Apollo asked

"When Posiden released the mortals they captured for the twins they spread word of their kindness and compassion to anyone who would listen and soon they had a more worshippers then most of us elder Gods" Explained Hades "So for more then several years that's how Perseus and Persea kept in touch with their lovers until the sad day when Persea vanished as did Amarus when word got out to Posiden he was so angry he would flooded the world if Amphitite and Perseus haven't stopped him to this day my brother still blames Amarus for his daughter's mysterious disappearance..." A tear rolled down Hades' eye

Chiron and the other younger Gods were shocked and sadden buy this story Persephone then hugged her husband to comfort him

"W-what happened to Athanasia?" Asked Aphroditie fearing the answer

"She was killed shortly after Persea disappeared" Hades answered sadly

"Killed?" Artemis sadly frowned "By who?"

"...a God who got angery and acted without thinking..." Was all Hades sighed "...That was the last straw for Perseus and he left..."

"Shit..." Was a Dionysus could say as he brought another bottle of his finest wine

The silence was broken by Hephaestus "When the demis find Perseus and Persea ...Let's invite them..."

The others joyfully nodded in agreement
