// Silent sobs, / in the rain. / Wash away all the pain. / The burning, / Crushing, / Heart breaking feeling you gave me to hold, / It make me give up my soul. / Even my common sense was sold. / I gave up my pathetic little heart, / To a part of you that didn't even exist. / I'll try to resist / But the urge is too strong. / I thought they were wrong, / I thought you were the right one to trust. / I thought you were the one to care. / It's not fair. / "Don't treat people like shit", / You used to say, / Yet, it was okay to treat me like I don't fit. / because the tears I'm shedding, / While I'm writing this poem, / Are creating more and more fears. / Take away the many years I have to live. / People say tears are a sign a strength, / Then why do you feel so weak while it happens. / Because we follow the captain. / And they think they see everything. / But they don't see my pain in the rain. //
