Jennie slowly feels herself dwelling into the feeling of anxiety and desperation as her continuous attempts of breaking down Taehyung continues. Like a sharp spear trying to puncture through an impenetrable shield, Jennie is in a tight situation.

Like clockwork, Taehyung would constantly keep her under control now that he's holding something against her.

And somehow, despite the what looked like a ceasefire that the both of them had, it doesn't give Jennie a sense of relief at all. She has been tagging along with them, purely for the purpose of keeping Taehyung in check — or atleast that's what she's telling herself.

Yet, a strange feeling drills a hole in her stomach everytime she sees Taehyung attached to Lisa. Jennie doesn't question it and concluded that she just hated seeing the both of them happy, she was afraid to find out that maybe she's more vulnerable than she thought, or that she became a pawn in her own game.

"Those two have been strangely close these days, maybe you're right after all." Jungkook points out one afternoon, as they're buying tickets for the amusement park. Jennie doesn't enjoy crowded places like such, it drains the energy out of her but then again she's not exactly one to complain.

She turns to Jungkook who busies himself in lacing the bracelet pass on her wrist, his touch was soft as he encircles his fingers around her skin. "What do you mean?" Jennie asks.

"You know, about them possibly being a thing." He replies, eyes crinkling as he looks back up at the two figures who were skipping in high spirits towards the park's entrance.

Jennie feels her stomach churn and a bitter taste leaves it's remnants on her mouth, she suddenly feels the urge to bend over a toilet bowl and throw up. "Don't let them hear you, they both seem to despise that thought." She scoffs and pushes the thought at the back of her head.

As the day goes by in a blur, and the life gets sucked out of her, Jennie's face turns more sour as each second ticks. It was tiring, the constant scene of Taehyung and Lisa laughing at each other's faces, Jungkook being unnecessarily gentle and careful around her, and the sudden eye contact Taehyung and Jennie would share in the midst of it all. It was too much.

She would catch a glimpse of Taehyung and Lisa fooling around in a shooting game, hitting each other, and laughing out loud with no care in the world. Then her gaze would be blocked by Jungkook's gentle face and warm eyes, looking at her like she was some porcelain doll. So precious and valuable, like he'd not let anything scratch her exterior.

Jennie loves being seen like that, she used to love the way she was cherised and portrayed as something that needs to be protected in the eyes of her past lovers. Yet, there was only confusion bubbling inside her along with the hint of jealousy that Jennie tries to conceal.

Maybe I'm just tired. She thinks to herself, her energy runs dry and she sits down on a bench. Already trying to come up with an excuse to leave. Screw this shit, Jennie wants to go home.

Her eyes were locked into her phone, fingers hovering over the screen as she opens Uber. Just in time, a weight shifts slightly beside her and she turns to see Taehyung's blank expression.

Jennie's pissed off again. Where the fuck is that wide smile you've been displaying towards Lisa all day? Have you used it all up? God, how she wished she blurted that out loud. It was unreasonable but nothing about her current emotions made sense, everything just sucks. And she doesn't even know exactly why.

"Gassed out?" He suddenly strikes up, handing her a bottle of cold water.

She hesitates before rolling her eyes, all her energy was run out from all the physical exertion. So rather than starting another fight, Jennie reaches for the bottle and pulls away as soon as she felt their fingers touch.
