"Thanks for the ride man." I gave Connie a head tilt as I hopped out of his Jeep, sighing and shutting the car door while my ears caught Kirstein doing the same as well on the other side of the vehicle.

"Don't drive like a fucking maniac on your way back for poor Armin's sake, baldie." Jean added on behind me to the idiot as I proceeded to fast-walk towards the entrance of the hospital, Kirstein jogging to catch up to me.

Fucker thinks he's my guardian, huh.

"OUT OF THE FOUR OF US, YOU TWO ARE VERY  SUS AND I'M NOT LIKING IT!!" Connie shouts his intuition at the dick and I before his wheels swerved off. I clench my jaw and glance at the concrete ground from his words only because...

His suspicions were a little correct I guess.

I'm at this shit-hole of a hospital only because of one thing, a 50/50 chance my fath— Grisha might be in there since this hospital was where he used to work at.

After overhearing Aunt Faye's conversation that she had over the phone the other day with who I'm pretty sure was the bitch himself, I now have knowledge that he's actually located in Manhattan still even after Marco's death... and he's been staying her in Paradise for a job conference at the moment.

Still acting like I don't exist to him.

If my so-called brother is injured and registered in this hospital with porky, then he definitely is here.

I peered over my right shoulder behind me for a second and saw how Jean-boy had caught up to me, then shaking my head in aggravation as the sliding doors opened outward to let me into this heavy atmosphere of scrubs, injured patients, and prayers of hope for people's loved ones.
