Dear diary,
I woke up to see the shop a mess. I rubbed my eyes wondering if last night was all a blur. Wondering if it was all a dream. I was laying on a rug, my body covered in a dusted grey cotton blanket. "Aw I see you're awake" Elijah said looking down at me. He adjusted his position before running his fingers though my hair. Moving the tangled pieces into place. "We're you watching me sleep?" I asked fighting back my laugher. Elijah looked so cute when he was made nervous. "Umm no" he blushed quickly moving his hand away from my face. I smiled. Two things I knew to be true were that; vampires don't sleep, and Elijah is the worst liar in the world. Now I knew another truth, Elijah would always look after me. Elijah helped to keep the nightmares from attacking my mind. I felt safe with his arms around me. "So last night" I said sitting up, taking the blanket with me. Covering my almost naked body. "Yes that was..." Elijah said taking a pause. "I know" I said looking over at him. We both had no words to describe last night. Suddenly my thoughts came back to me. "What time is it?" I asked him. "Close to 10:00 I would pursue" he said looking outside through the glass windows, using the suns placements to tell time. "Oh no" I said smacking my face with my hand, my eyes shutting tight. "Where are my clothes?" I asked turning to Elijah, my hand falling from my face. Elijah turned to the side grabbing a pile of clothes. "Well you can wear mine" he offered with a shy smile holding up my rip clothes. I couldn't help but laugh. Elijah joined me by adding a small chuckled. I couldn't get over my bad luck. Elijah was already dressed so he didn't need to worry about sharing clothes. And I was supposed to meet Klaus at 11, I guess he would have to wait. I stood up the blanket wrapped around my body, taking Elijah's clothes from his hands. "Turn around" I told Elijah as I began to change into his clothes from last night. "Why has something changed between us?" Elijah asked. "No but..." I began to said. "Shh" Elijah whispered. He was suddenly behind me. His right hand swiftly glazing my neck, his left hand holding my waist. "I need to go" I said buttoning his shirt. "My shirt looks better on you than me" he softly said running his hands down it. I inhaled as his fingertips reached my lower stomach. I quickly pulled up his pants, ignoring his hands on my body and the dirty thoughts of my mind. "I'm sorry but I must leave" I said turning to him. "If you insist" he said taking a step back from me. His brown eyes looking down on me. He walked over opening the door for me. And I walked out. No goodbye. I was leaving him for Klaus. As I entered the bustling streets I couldn't help feeling like I was betraying Elijah. I did truly love him, but I also loved Klaus. I didn't want to be apart of their brotherly feud. I was almost a block away when I finally looked back at Elijah. He was leaning against the door, waiting for me to return. And I did. I couldn't help but run back to him. Leaving the path I had been on. I quickly grabbed the collar of his shirt pulling him into a kiss. Elijahs hands moved down my back. Pulling my body closer. I grabbed the collar of this shirt tighter. I could feel the heat radiating from his body as our lips hardly pressed against one another. I needed him. Once we had stopped I softly uttered under my breath "I must go, but I will always come back to you Elijah". Then I walked away disappearing into the crowds of people walking the streets. Never looking back.
