she pushes me down the basement stairs and gets out her tools she came over to me and cuffed me to the wall so i wouldnt get away ''now what tool shall i use today'' she asks herself and picks up the belt and starts to belt me all over my body i decided to stay quiet so i wouldnt aggravate her any more but that didnt work it only made her angrier so she got her brass knuckles out and started punching me in the face till i was bearly conscious she didnt stop there though and got out the base ball bat and hit me a few more times in the stomach she unlocked the chains and left the basement i followed a few minutes later and decided not to go to my room but to go to peters house instead i texted him to make sure may wasent home first though

nd with that i put my phone away and decided to fly to peters apartment as i was in to much pain to walk i got there and climbed the stairs and knocked on the door peter opened it and helped me onto his bed

Peters pov
i helped lyric into my room and onto my bed i got out the rubbing alcohol and put it on the cuts on her face she didnt flich once while i was putting it on so i was done really quickly and seeing as it was almost midnight i threw her one of my hoodies a blanket and a pillow she laid them on the floor and i laid on the bed ''thanks pete'' she mumbled ''anytime goodnight lyr'' i say back to her before drifting off to sleep

*time skip the next morning*

i woke up to see lyric just staring at the ceiling ''are you going to get up or just keep staring at the ceiling like a weirdo'' i ask her ''im getting up just waiting for your lazy ass'' lyric sasses back ''ok so i see your not a morning person'' i joke with her ''what would you know about morning seeing how you sleep through most off it'' she tells me and we both burst into a fit of laughter after we both stopped laughing we got up and got ready to go to the internship i got changed into some fresh clothes and lyric just left on my hoodie we got a sandwich and left to go to the tower we went in waved at the receptionist and went to the elevator ''intern floor please friday'' i say to the ceiling the elevator starts miving and we just wait for it to stop

when the doors open we were met by mr. stark standing at the entrence ''oh good there you are i was wondering why you werent in my lab'' mr. stark tells us and gets in the elevator with us ''but mr. stark wouldnt we be working in the intern labs'' i ask him ''no because you two are my personal interns that reminds me friday please give lyric and peter avenger passes'' tony tells us than the AI ''yes sir'' the british voice comes on in the elevator we go up to his lab and were working for 3 hours before ms. romanoff comes into the labs

Natashas pov
i went to the labs to see how the kids were getting on but when i get in there lyrics face is the first thing i see ''lyric can you come with me please tony you dont mind do you'' i ask the man ''no not at all work away'' he says and lyric gets up from the desk and follows me i bring het to my room and sit her on the bed while i go get the first aid kit out of my bathroom i squat down in front of her and lift her chin so her face is in line with mine so i can examine it ''what happened'' i ask her ''i fell'' she replies to me i look at her and ask ''do you think im stupid i know this cant happen if you just fall'' she dosent reply so i clean her face and reapply her bandages once im done i move her so shes sitting directly infront of me ''you wanna tell me what really happened'' i ask again and she shakes her head ''okay, come here'' i tell her and she crawls over to me and i wrap my arms around her in a hug she tenses but soon relaxes into my arms we stay like that for a bit before going back down to the labs

we go back to the labs and i take my seat next to peter again and continue with the work i was doing after another half hour tony announces ''i think thats enough work for one day lets get some food yeah'' ''ok'' peter and i say together we clear up our work areas and go to the kitchen where nataha was making a sandwich ''do you kids want one'' she asked peter and i and we nodded at her she made us two pb&j sandwiches i ate a quarter of mine before i was done she looked at me confused as to why i ate so little ''eat 3 more bites lyric'' she says in a stern tone i hesitate but do it anyway ''good girl'' she smiles at me before taking my plate away peter finishes his sandwich and we thank ms. romanoff just as mr. stark comes into the kitchen ''you two can go home now and mabye stay the night tomorrow seeing as we have alot of work to do so ask your parents ok'' mr. stark tells ''ok mr. stark and thanks for the sandwich ms. romanoff'' i say to the grown ups ''thank you mr. stark and thank you ms. romanoff'' peter says aswell and we leave and i go back to the orphanage happy for once and go to sleep with a smile on my face
