Nico's POV:

Well that was a birthday to remember. Percy and I drove home, and we settled inside. I handed Percy his hoodie that I still had and my sweat pants, as I went to shower. By the time I was back, Hazel had left me a bowl of soup and Percy was flipping through the scrapbook. "I'm an idiot aren't I?" I laughed, "A big one, and a jerk too." He pouted, "Don't rub it in my face." Ugh, not that stupid cute pout. "You better not leave me again. For your own safety, my dad was ready to murder you, so were Hazel and Will."

"I'm not that big of an idiot." Percy said rolling his eyes. "You sure?" I asked smirking. He pulled me onto the bed, and started tickling me. I laughed until I was out of my breath and he finally stopped. "I missed you," he said pulling me close. "Percy?" I said. "Yeah?" he replied.

"What are we going to do now? I mean about our futures." I asked.

"Dunno. But whatever we do we'll be together okay?" he asked me. I nodded, "Lets figure it out as time goes, we still have a couple of months left," he said. "By the way, how are you going on with swimming?" I questioned. "Its alright."

"What about you, hows photography?" he asked me. "Honestly, I couldn't focus for a while. But I did use it as an escape method for a while." I answered. His smile faded, and his eyes teared up. "I'm sorry Neeks, I'm sorry," he sobbed burying his face into me, "I'm sorry I made you feel like that, I swear I'll never do that again...just love me." I just hugged him until he stopped crying.

*timeskip to a couple of days*

Its been a couple of days since my birthday and everything was back to normal. Me and Percy were still head over heels for each other. I did just as I used to in school. No more avoiding friends. And both me and Percy made time for each other everyday. Today we were actually going to have a picnic together after his work shift was over. Percy said that he was going to make the food but I felt bad, and decided to make something for him too.

As soon as I rushed home, I threw my things on the couch and went into the kitchen. Now...what does Percy like? Pizza...blue waffles...no anything blue...cookies! That's it cookies but make it blue! He loves his mom's blue cookies, so I called Sally and asked he to send her cookie recipe. And I got baking. The first batch burnt. So did the second batch. But luckily I make too much dough so I made a third batch which came out perfectly.

Finally around 6 pm, Jules-Albert dropped me at the park where we decided to meet. Percy arrived shortly with the picnic basket. "Sorry I'm late!" he yelled. "No worries, sit I made something for you." I said, patting the seat next to me. I handed him the box of cookies, and he took a bit out of one. His eyes widened in shock after he saw the blue cookies. "These taste so good!" he said smiling wide. "Your mom's recipe," I replied, with a smile. We talked as we ate the food. It was nice hearing his sweet voice again. I missed this.

Percy's POV:

Its been a couple of weeks since well we got back together and its been great. I honestly don't know why I even did that. I should've just talked to him about it. Well I learned a lesson you could day. Remember kids, communication is important in a relationship. Guess who learned that the hard way? But forget that for now. Valentines Day is in a couple of days and guess who doesn't know what to get again? You guess right, its ya boy.

Well anyway, I spent days figuring out what to do for Valentines Day and finally I figured it out thanks to Jason. I was at his house because he was helping me with our chemistry homework, but we were taking a break right now. He was on his phone, on Instagram looking at people's pictures. "Man, imagine having those many tattoos," he said, showing me the picture. "You're old enough to get one, better to do it after graduation though," I replied. "You think my mom would let me?" he laughed.

"Mmm considering how she is, probably not, at least not that many," I replied, struggling to figure out the answer to a question. But then something else spouted in my brain. What if I get a small tattoo for Nico? I grabbed my phone and searched for ideas and found a perfect one. I always call Nico a prince, and he loves skulls. So how about a skull with a crown? Perfect!

"Do you know any tattoo places?" I asked Jason. "Don't tell me you're getting one?" said Jason. I nodded, "So?"

*timeskip to Valentines*

So. I'd gotten my tattoo yesterday, just a small one on my shoulder. Nico still doesn't know yet, and so do none of my friends, except Jason. Today Nico and I decided to meet up later in the evening and have dinner together at his house. Nico was cooking his mom's recipes and told me that they're the best so I'm excited. If anybody was wondering about my mom's  reaction...lets just say she was shocked.

She didn't get mad, and told me that it was beautiful though. It was around 5 pm, so I decided to get ready since I had to be there by 6:30 pm. So I got dressed in a red button up silk dress shirt, and black ripped jeans. I wore the black pearl bracelet that Nico had gotten me. It was Estelle's first Valentines Day, so Paul and Mom wanted to do a cute photo shoot with her, so thats what they were doing in the living room. They wanted to take a family picture, so we all took one together, and I said my goodbyes to them and drove to Nico's place.
