When she smiles,
the universe ripples and stars leap through the sky;
flowers open and the sun paints the clouds breathtaking colors.
When she laughs,
songbirds pause to listen and the wind flutters through leaves;
cats purr and the ocean jumps to hug the shore.
When she cries,
the world stops moving and stars are swallowed by dark;
flowers droop and the sun fades;
animals whimper and the air and sea turn cold.
When I find her,
I hope I can return her smile and she can return my world.
