"I TOLD YOU WE NEED THE MONEY" hades kicks me in the stomach before walking away leaving me bleeding and barely breathing
Hades is a gang that's always been after me. He sent people after Alessandro. They killed Alessandro. Alessandro was my best friend he fell in love with my sister Maxine. Now Maxine is a single mother to twins.
I had owed Hades money. I owed him for backing off of my siblings, my siblings are all I have left and I payed him to stay off of them because I knew he wanted me and he wanted to kill me. He would do anything to kill me, he knows my siblings are my weakness
But at this moment I knew this was his time he would actually get to my head and I'd give up any second now
I accepted the fact that I was about to die any second now
Before a voice
A women calling out
"Oh my god are you okay? Sir I need to take you to a hospital" the women rolls me over to my back and I get a good look at her face
She had brown skin and brown eyes
Her hair was in an Afro
"I'm a nurse I can help you can you hear me?" I groan in response
"I can't go to a hospital" I tell her
"I'll take you to my house I'll help you" the women says before everything goes black

I wake up to an intense pain
I blink my eyes trying to adjust to the night
"Your awake" I hear the women say before I look down to see her cleaning a wound in my abdomen
"No I'm fine I'm fine you don't have to do this" I hiss
"Listen I'm Blair Mercy I work at a hospital I'm a nurse, I can help you stay here I know you said you couldn't go to a hospital can I ask why?" She explains
"I'm Elijah Beck. I'm not a very social person I have people after me I can't go to a hospital" I sit up
"Look Lay off your feet for now stay here people trust me so no one will find you here" Blair takes a seat next to me
"I shouldn't I should get home" I look for my phone in my pockets
"Here" Blair hands me her phone "you didn't have your phone on you so maybe it's broken or something"
Silence filled the room before Blair places a cup of coffee in front of me
"Tell me about yourself Elijah"She locks eyes with me
"I'm 24, I have 3 siblings" I start
"I'm 24 and I have a sister" Blair smiles
