My New Life

Chapter 1

Maddie's Pov:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm and i rolled over to shut it off. "There should be no alarm on Sat-" I sniff, "What's that smell?" I walk downstairs and see my mom, sisters, and stepdad all siting down eating bacon and eggs. "Maddie, would you like some?" My stepdad Greg asks me with no energy. "Sure. " He scrapes the rest of the food onto a paper plate and hands it to me. "Thank You." I go sit by my sister Mariah."Maddie, we have some news...Mackenzie got an an amazing opportunity down in new york, and we have to live there now. Which means you'll have to stay behind and live with Greg." My mom says. I saw Greg roll his eyes."Wait, so your leaving me?" I question dropping my plastic fork."Yes. Mads its a big opp-" I cut my mom off. "It's always about Mackenzie!" I storm off and take my breakfast to my room. I ate it at the pink table in my room and texted whoever I knew. Onething I know, is I will NOT live with Greg. Then I had an Idea.

MaddieZiegler13: hey i know it may be a crazy question but can i come live with u?

Ryyleigh: why

MaddieZiegler13: my mom and Kenz are moving to New York, along with Mariah. So I'll have to live with Greg, anddd he hates me....

Ryyleigh: i understand. Yes u can live with me. We have a spare room in our house that u can stay in. Its bubble gum pink

MaddieZiegler13: OMMGGGG REALLY?

Ryyleigh: yes of corse. U need to be picked up?

MaddieZiegler13: yes but Tommarow i got to pack

Ryyleigh: ok. Haha. Well since im already your god mom, ur mom doenst have to sign anything

MaddieZiegler13: ya so im gonna go pack! Thnx agin ry!bye

Ryyleigh: no prob. Bye

After I hung up with Ryleigh, I packed up everything. I got a big huge clothes bin and folded up all my clothes. Then i got a clear plastic container and put all of my shoes in it. Then i grabbed at of my other things to. Soon enough i was 1/4 away from being finished. I could do that in the morning. I decided to shower and through on my pajamas. I couldn't believe I packed all day! I unhooked my TV and gathered a little more of my stuff. I then fell fast asleep. I woke up at 12:00 to a call from Ryleigh.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Maddie."

"Hey."

"So i'll pick you up at five thirty, does that work for you?"

"Yeah. I'm really done i just have to get my stuff from the bathroom. Then i'm done."

"Kay, well i'm driving Brandon's car so there should be enough room for everything. "

"Well thanks again! I love you!"

"Love you too, bye!"

"Bye! "

I hung up and then got a medium sized container and stuffed all of my stuff in."What are you doing?" My mom asks. At first I ignored her, but then mumbled. "Leaving." She tried to hug me put I snatched away. I carried my boxes downstairs and put them by the door.My mom tapped me on the back."What!?" I snapped. "Oh." She handed me and envolope. I tore it open and there was a note and 5 hundred dollar bills. I took it then placed it with all the other stuff that had belonged to me. I got all of my makeup and then had Greg carry my TV downstairs. I got all my health cards from my moms purse and stuffed it into a plastic bag and set it in a box. Soon enough Ryleigh was here. I stepped out without saying 'goodbye'. I set all my stuff in the back of Brandon's pick up truck. Then I plopped in the front seat with Ryleigh. She had a gift in her hand. She handed it to me. I didnt reach for it. I just sat and cried. I didn't want to leave my mom. I almost ran back in, but caught myself. Ryleigh pulled me into a hug. "Aw don't cry! " She said rubbing my back playing with my hair. I bawled harder into her shoulder. I didn't need this, any of it.
