Andres got into the drivers seat of his single cab Silverado and unfolded the seat in the middle so I could sit. I tried to get in but couldn't because it was too lifted.
A: Ay Gabe help this mocosa get on the truck
G: Alright
Y/n: I don't need help!
G: It looks like you do
Y/n: Fine
Gabe put his hands on my waist and lifted me up. He got in too and closed the door. I never put on my seat belt because it was just a habit. Gabe noticed and sighed.
G: Do I have to do everything for you?
He got my seat belt reached over to buckle it.
Y/n: Thanks pendejo
A: Stop being rude
G: Yea Y/n stop being rude
Y/n: I wasn't being rude I was thanking you
G: Well I don't think pendejo is a very nice name
Y/N: Ok well then thanks Mi amor
A: STOP FLIRTING
Y/n: I'm not flirting I'm being nice
G: Yeah sure I know you can't resist me
A: GABE!
G: It's true she was all up on me in the morning
Y/n: THAT'S NOT TRUE I WAS SLEEPING!
A: Y/N HE'S OFF LIMITS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE
Y/n: Oh I didn't know you guys were dating
G: I know how much you love me but your too young to be dating anyone
Y/n: We're two years apart and you both had girlfriends when you were my age
A: That's different
Y/n: How so?
G: It just is and it was a mistake
A: Exactly we didn't even end up staying with them. Anyways we're here
Andres got off and closed the door. Gabe opened his side and got off as well. He held a hand out for me to get out.I took it and jumped off the truck. Unintentionally we were still holding hands and Andres was walking in front of us so he didn't notice either. We got in the mall and looked around for stores to go to. I saw a Starbucks and was thirsty so I told them we should go there.
~Gabes POV~
I helped y/n off the truck by offering her my hand, and even after she jumped off she was still holding my hand so I just went with it. I looked at her and she looked so perfect. I came back to my senses when she told me and Andres she wanted Starbucks.
~Y/n's POV~
We walked to Starbucks and as soon as we got to where you order the lady asked "What can can I get for the lovely couple?" I looked around in confusion as Gabe laughed and then realized she was talking to us.
Y/n: Oh we're not a couple
A: You better not be
Y/n: We're not! Anyways... Can I get a venti strawberry açaí blended... Do you guys want anything?
G: Yeah I'll get the same thing
A: I'm good
Right when I was reaching for my wallet Gabe took out his card and payed for it. I sighed in frustration and lightly hit his arm. He laughed and looked down at me. I felt butterflies in my stomach. This felt wrong and right at the same time somehow... We went to the corner of the store to wait for our drinks while Andres waited outside. "Why'd you pay for it estupido?"I asked. "Because you're a girl and I'm a guy and the guy always has to pay." "Fine." I put my hand in his and he kissed it. They called his name and we got our drinks with our available hands.
A: Come on lovebirds I don't have all day
Y/n: We are NOT lovebirds
G: Yeah I'm holding her hand so she doesn't get lost
A: It better be for that reason you're both off limits from each other
Y/n: Geez chill you know some day I'm gonna get married and have kids and stuff
G: Yeah... ya que estoy muerto
A: Yo también, not just any guy can come and throw away everything we've done for you
Y/n: Well what if I marry Gabe?
A: Estas loca o que?
Y/n: No just a possibility
A: You know what no me importa ahora. I'm going to the restroom you stay here and watch her.
Gabe nodded and looked right at me after he left.
G: Are you crazy?!
Y/n: No are you?
G: He's going to start asking questions!
Y/n: And... it's not like we're dating
He looked shocked and had his mouth opened. I gently put my hand on his chin and closed his mouth. I sipped my drink and lead him to Victoria's Secret.
G: Why are we going in here?
Y/n: Because I need new sets and you're going to help me pick them
G: Ok I guess
Just then he got a call from Andres. He said Juan needed help with something in the house and to order an uber whenever we were gonna leave. Gabe agreed and hung up.
