i woke up shaking drenched in sweat gasping for air as heavy running was heard soon the doors burst open while Damien and Daxton sprinted to my side
"shhhhhhhhhh its okay Annie its okay I'm here were here okay?" Damien said as he hugged me and rocked us back and fort slowly "deep breaths Izzy inhale exhale in hale exhale" Daxton said while rubbing my head which helped me to calm down more ah shit i bet i look like a 5 year old, soon enough my breathing calmed down "there you go Izzy your doing a great job princess" then he kissed my forehead
"want to talk about it now cupcake?" Damien asked me and i just shook my head while leaning in to his chest " not now damdam" I said in a baby voice, damn I'm turning soft cause of them but its only for to night right? "are u sure princess?" Daxton asked last and i just mumbled "yes choni" before drifting to sleep as darkness consumed me
Daxton Nicolas Blaze Arcardi's POV
Me and Damien were heading back to our room after re-watching the high school musical 1,2 and 3, don't look at me like that the songs were bops when we were about to enter our rooms we heard whimpers and cries so we wondered who was it but soon it stopped after a couple seconds we heard a scream
"ANNIE"
"IZZY"
we both yelled at the same time, we looked at each other before running faster than we ever ran soon we were in front of Gabriella's door we burst trough it to see our little sister shaking, covered in sweat and tears gasping for air, it hasn't even been a week she's been her but the sight in front of me was heart clenching and aching site we both ran to her to comfort her
after a couple minutes she got her breathing back to normal and fell asleep on Damien's chest while her legs were on my lap "what happened to her" he said as his eyes became glossy "I don't know acey I don't know" i said as my voice cracked at the end "she changed so much" "i know... but hey at least she still remembers the nicknames yeah?" I said as the corner of my lips raised "dont worry acey we'll get our bubbly princess back i promise" i said while ready to stand up but a hand stopped me "dont leave me too choni" izzy said half awake " i wont princess dont worry" i kissed her forehead and laid down beside her "we'll get her back" damien said before me and him drifted to sleep
