A few weeks later:
"Y/n?"
"Hm?"
"I've got a surprise for you" the Curse grinned as he sat in front of the h/c, her eyes focused on the parchment in front of her,
"Really?" She said blandly, not even bothering to look up once,
"Didn't you hear me?"
"Hm? Yeah sure, hey!-" She snaps up and glares at him as he sets the scroll on fire,
"What is wrong with you? I was reading that"
she tries putting the flames out, but dousing water would only disintegrate the paper and wind would boost the flames.
"Now that I have your attention, want to guess what my surprise is?"
"No I do not, what type of idiot just disturbs someone like that?" Y/n really considered yanking his hair out, or maybe kicking his foot or something,
"Brat, you're so, so boring" he chuckles,
"Thanks", she proceeds to march out of there but instead collides into a wall of muscle,
"For the last time Sukuna, stop doing that"
she says in a defeated tone.
Living with Sukuna made her accustomed to his brashness but he could be so unbothered and stubborn it would give Y/n headaches.
"Still didn't answer me" he places a finger under her chin gently tilting her face up, making her shoot him with a dagger like gaze,
"Alright, alright....is this surprise a..object? Or a...pet..?"
"It's a place"
Her eyes widened, she rests against the library shelf,
"Is he taking me somewhere?"
"We don't have all day" He yawns,
"Are you taking me on a vacation?" She asks suggestively,
"A vacation?!-" he literally barked out his laughter when she said that, making her flare with embarrassment and she finally gathered the courage to start smacking his arm, not like that would do much,
"S-stop laughing!" She says agitated,
"What makes- you think- you deserve a vacation" he says still chuckling between words,
"I deserve one for tolerating you" her answer was quick and he places a hand on head.
Without them noticing, as time progressed Y/n and Sukuna became quite friendly, their relationship consisted of him constantly bugging her and she would simply ignore him. Then there were times when he'd trip her in the hallways and then she'd almost punch him in the face, but there was also that moment when they'd understand each other without saying anything.
