Calum and I start our road trip today. We had looked online for routes and found one that we liked. But we have to drive to San Francisco first to start, which is like a five-hour drive. Today we were just driving up then getting a hotel room. But first Calum and I have to pack because we have yet to do that.

I woke up with Calum's naked body cuddled into mine. He was holding me from behind with his face tucked into my neck. We didn't go to bed naked, Calum just woke up in the middle of the night horny as fuck.

I tried to turn over but Calum's arms tightened around me,

"Cal, we need to pack and I need a shower" I whispered, finally turning in his arms to where I was facing him. He hummed and kissed my lips without even opening his eyes first,

"Good morning" he spoke as he pulled away and now looked at me,

"Morning" I smiled, "I need a shower. You getting in with me?"

"Of course" he hummed and slowly sat up, his bare torso now visible as the sheets fell. He got out of bed and rounded it, making me laugh,

"What?" he chuckled as he picked me up out of bed,

"You've got a cute butt" I giggled. He rolled his eyes and sat me down once we were in the bathroom.

Calum started the shower before we both got in. My arms wrapped around his waist and my head rested against his chest. His head was on top of mine while his arms were around me. We were both still sleepy and just letting the water run over us.

"We could've stayed in bed longer but someone just had to shower" Calum teased,

"Well someone woke me up at 3 am to get me all hot and bothered"

Calum's laughs made his chest vibrate,

"Well someone's appendix decided to explode and I couldn't get it in for weeks. I'm just making up for lost time"

I rolled my eyes and pulled back, grabbing my shampoo off the shelf.

After two hours, we were finally packing the car. Calum strategically placed everything. He made sure the snack bag and cooler was in my reach for the drive,

"Alright, ready to go Addie?" Calum announced as he walked in the kitchen where I was with Duke and Roy. I nodded and said bye to Duke and Roy then went and got in the passenger's seat. Calum came out seconds later and gave me a blanket then backed out of the garage and got us on the road.

"Here" he smiled and handed over his phone, "You can pick the music"

I grinned and unlocked his phone and found a road trip playlist, putting it on shuffle then snapping his phone back into the stand. Calum smiled and took my hand, holding it in my lap as he began singing.

We reached the San Francisco area and stopped for a quick lunch, then headed to our hotel.

We drove down the street and the map told us to turn, but Calum had already passed it. Siri started to freak out and was panicking at us and telling us to make a U-turn. All the little turns were no U-turns and Calum was getting mad. He huffed and puffed as he gripped the steering wheel,

"Babe, calm down. Just turn into a drive and turn around" I let my hand go to his thigh and giving it a squeeze. The tension he had released and he calmly pulled in a parking lot and turned around,

"Sorry" he sighed, lifting my hand to his mouth and kissing my knuckles, "I love you"

"I love you too" I smiled as he pulled into the correct parking lot.

We both got out and put masks on, then grabbed our bags and headed inside to the front desk. Calum did all the check-in stuff and was given two keys,

"Room 219" the lady nodded. Calum and I thanked her and headed to the elevator, going up to the second floor.

We got off the elevator and headed to our room. Calum opened the door and let me walk in first. It was nice. It was large and had one bed with a big bathroom.

We put our stuff down on the desk and ripped our masks off then flopped back on the bed,

"Wanna grab some dinner? We can just order it and go pick it up then bring it back here" Calum
suggested, pulling me into his side,

I nodded and leaned up, my hand on his chest, then kissed him. He kissed me back before pulling away with a smile,

"Okay, let's find us some food" Calum pulled his phone out and started looking for restaurants near us that did carry out,

"What about this Chinese one?" I pointed, making him stop scrolling,

"Works for me" he smiled and went to their website and put in an order for us, "Alright, it's about 15 minutes away so I'm going to go ahead and go pick it up. You wanna stay here?"

"Yeah. I think I'm gonna shower while you go"

Calum nodded and got up, putting his wallet in his pocket, grabbing his car keys, and putting his masks on,

"I'll be back soon. I love you"

"I love you too"

When I got out of the shower, Calum still wasn't back. It was a little bit away so that was understandable.

After drying and braiding my hair, I threw on a pair of shorts and one of Calum's hoodies.

The door opened seconds later and Calum walked in with take-out bags and drinks. He sat them all down on the desk and pulled his mask off,

"Sorry that took a bit. I stopped and filled the car with gas too" he sighed, stripping down and changing into shorts before grabbing the food and drinks, handing me what was mine,

"Thanks" I smiled and sat back against the headboard. Calum did the same.

When we had finished eating, Calum gathered our trash and set it to the side. He turned the room lights off, allowing the tv to be the only light source, and laid down in bed with me,

"Comfortable?" he asked, kissing behind my ear as he held me. I nodded and nuzzled closer to him,

"So what are we doing tomorrow?" I asked with a yawn,

"We're driving through that tree thing then going to this bridge called the Russian Gulch Bridge"

I nodded,

"Alright. Let's get some sleep. I want to get moving in the morning" he yawned. I nodded once more and turned the tv off. I rolled to where I could lay my head on Calum's chest and let his arms wrap around me,

"Goodnight baby. I love you"

"I love you. Goodnight Cal"
