The rage of a hurt devil

Chapter 10 A Talk

Asta's day had been a boring one so far. Pretty much all day he'd been in war Council meetings and who to send to the heart kingdom. He eventually got so bored that he just flew out the window and headed to the woods to train. But when touched down he landed right in the middle of a bandit camp.

"Oh you've gotta be shitting me Asta said.
"Who the hell are one of the bandits asked.
"Quick question do any of you know who attacked hage village a year ago Asta asked.
"That would be us tried raising that place only for a old priest who was weak to get on our way so we killed him but by then the magic knights showed up and we didn't get any loot so fuck that old man I'm glad he's dead.
"Oh so you're the assholes who killed Orsi good to know Asta taking out his sword.
"What you know that punk bitch"
"Yeah and now you're all gonna die"
"Big mistake kid"

The bandit who said that charged at Asta but Asta simply side stepped him and swung his blade cutting the mans head of. The other bandits looked in horror as his body just fell to the ground and his head rolled to the side.

"You little bastard you'll pay for that"
A bandit shouted as he charged towards Asta but Asta acted fast and kicked the severed head towards the man hitting him in the head disorienting him long enough for Asta to shove his sword into the bandits stomach and pulling it out leavening himself to bleed out.

"Who's next Asta said as the remaining 16 bandits looked at him in shock cause a kid just killed two of their guys easily. But soon the shock was filled with anger and that anger turned into rage as they all charged at Asta but Asta swiftly took them all down with either a slash to the chest or decapitation. Soon after the fighting had ceased Asta looked up the clouds as it begun to rain.

"I know you never liked killing and you always thought revenge was a fools game but I hope you can rest easier now that you know these people won't hurt anyone else Father Orsi" Asta said. As Asta was letting the rain hit him he closed his eyes for a while but after a couple of minutes he didn't feel it anymore. He opened his eyes and noticed an umbrella hanging over him.

"You know I'm surprised you can reach that high"
"Well I wanted to come and talk to you again we kinda left off on the wrong foot" Loropechka said.
"So what is it you wanna talk about"Asta said.
"I wanna figure out what happened to that boy that came into my palace one day the one who could brighten up a room just by walking in" Loropechka said. "That kid got introduced to the world around him and had to accept that it wasn't sunshine and rainbows" Asta said. "You know sometimes when I look at you I don't even recognize you, your eyes look so cold and dead and I never see your smile and then one day you just left didn't leave a note or say goodbye you were just gone where'd you go Asta" she asked. "I went away to get stronger I had to" Asta said. "But you're also pushing everyone away that's not good for you Asta" She said. "I don't care what happens to me I've stopped caring what happens to me I'm just a cog in a machine that's meant to go bad and be thrown out that's all I've ever been" Asta said. "That's not true at all and you know that people care about you I care about even that girl Noelle that you talked so much about, me and Undine both know how you feel about her" Loropechka said. "Don't talk about her please just don't talk about her" Asta said with his voice cracking a bit. "Why what happened between you two" Lororpchka said. "Nothing you need to worry about" Asta said. "But I am worried your like my little brother I still see you as that kid who Undine dragged in" She said. "Well I'm not a kid anymore you don't need to worry about me I can take care of my self now. "I know that but- "But what you still treat me like you're fine you're not fine sis you're dying slowly and painfully and there's nothing I can do but wait and watch while everyone else gets ready hell you only have a year and a half left to live. "Asta I know it's hurts you to see me like this but you need to learn to let other people in like you did with me and Gaja I don't want you to be alone forever she said. "Well I want you to live a long and happy life and I'm gonna make sure you are no matter what" he said. "Ok fine I'll make you a deal if I decide to live a long happy life will you let people back into your life"
"Should I tell her no I shouldn't she'd try and stop me Asta thought. "Fine you have a deal but you better hold up your side to and give Gaja a chance"
At this statement Lororpechka blushed. "I-i-i don't know what y-y-you mean" "yeah sure you don't Asta teased.

Just as he finished talking Marx used his magic to talk to Asta. "Asta it's an emergency we need your help. "Well what is it you need Marx Atsugi asked. "We sent the black bulls on a mission a few days ago but haven't heard back until recently asking for reinforcements and you're the closest one we have at the moment we need you to help save them Marx said.  "Well how long will it take for you to get there he asked. "An hour cause we need to muster our forces Marx said. "Fine I'm on the way be there soon see ya Marx Asta said.

After the talk finished Asta turned back around to Loropecka. "Well gotta go duty calls" he said. "Fine but just be careful Asta I don't wanna lose you" she said. "You know me I'm to stupid to die" he said with a sad smile. After he said that he took his sword out of his sheathe and began to fly away to help the black bulls

An/so that's the end of this chapter and I know what I'm gonna do for the next one or two chapters also I'm writing a new book that's a mha one with Izuku as a green lantern and I got rid of the old one I was writing but he on the lookout for that one anyway bye.
