While Carter and Chandler were glaring angrily at each other, I took the mic. "Guys, lets finish the ceremony and settle this later. Don't forget about Cade." On that note, the two boys stopped glaring at each other. It was like they were in a trace, and I snapped them out of it.
"Right, Cade. We can't forget about the little scamp." Chandler said, giving Cade a noogie. "Hey! Hands off!" Cade exclaimed angrily, fixing his hair.
Cade was still mad at Chandler, but he took the mic and said, "I choose Megan Jackson to be my soul mate."
We still had the Chandler-Sophie-Carter thing to work out, and Cameron took the mic and said, "Since we have a little dilemma with Chandler and Carter's soul mate, we will have a contest. But, by law, I must ask this." I don't think he wanted to ask. "Does anyone else want Sophie to be their soul mate? Please call this number below." What am I, an "As Seen on TV" thing?! I mean geez!
I wonder if someone would actually call... "Please call this number before tonight, because then we will see if we have some more competitors to join us. Stay tuned folks, and join us back here tonight at 8. See you there." The screen faded to black.
"Wow Cameron, you're really good in front of the camera!" I said. "I know. It's one of my many special gifts." He replied. We all laughed. "Wait, now where do I go?" I asked.
"Do I go back to class or-"Chandler interrupted me and said, "You come with us to the castle babe." He put his arm around me, and I didn't really know what to do. "Hey, hands off." Carter said, slapping Chandler's hand. "She's not yours yet, bro." Chandler got really mad. "Maybe she likes it." "Maybe she doesn't!" Carter exclaimed. "Guys, chill." Connor said.
We climbed into the Charming's limo. Chandler sat beside me, as did Carter. "Anyone thirsty?" Cade asked. "Me!" Cameron said. "I'll take an Orange Dream." Connor said. "Dr. Fizz for me." Chandler said. "What would you like Sophie?" Carter asked me.
He looked into my eyes, and it felt like I could stare at them forever. They were like big brown chocolate bars, like I was in a room made entirely out of chocolate. It was like his eyes were smiling, like he was a little kid in a candy shop. They were blissful. Perfect.
"Ok I get it, Carter's eyes are dreamy. You can stop drooling now." Cade said. "I was NOT drooling." I said in my defense, and wiped my mouth... just to make sure. Nope, no drool. What a relief. I looked at Carter out of the corner of my eye, and smiled. He smiled back.
