The next morning I woke up and Prince was still sleeping. He was probably jet lagged from his flight still. He was facing me in bed as we laid on our sides and his hair was slightly in his eyes. I moved the hair very carefully as to not wake him before giving him a soft kiss and climbing out of bed. I saw the books in the bags we brought home last night and decided to pick through my pile to see what I got. I sat crosslegged on the floor and checked out the covers of each of the six books I got. One of them was about Pregnancy, the other was about giving birth, but this one was called Epilepsy in Children.

I didn't understand why this one was in the mix, but it was in the bag. I turned around and Prince was sitting up with the covers around his waist looking at me. "What's this?" I asked him. He had a frown on his face. "Just in case the baby is born with it...like I was." I blinked. "You have epilepsy?" He nodded. "I did when I was little. I grew out of it...but it's coming back in a different form." I got in bed next to him. "What do you mean by 'different form'?" I asked him. He shook his head. "I...I wish I knew. It's...Marty knows about it. I never know when it happens. I don't have seizures like when I was little, but..." he couldn't get his words out. I put my hand on his knee. "It's okay. We'll find out. Maybe the baby won't have it. We won't know until we go to a doctor." Prince nodded and I laid my cheek on his bicep. "Is that what's wrong?" I asked him. He nodded. "That's why I'm sorry. I don't want the baby to have the same issues I had as a kid."

I stroked his hand putting a kiss on his shoulder before laying down. "Come here." Prince laid next to me putting his arm around me. "Why didn't you want me to get an abortion?" I asked him. His eyes were watching me. "It...It doesn't feel right. Not saying that abortion is wrong, but...I don't know. I reacted so fast." I nodded. "Well, don't be worried about the epilepsy thing. We won't know for a little while." I leaned up kissing his lips softly. "Do you mind if I stay here a few days? Hotels are great, but...I think your dad likes me." I smiled. "Of course. Just let me wash your clothes."

Prince got out of bed to use the bathroom so I sat up to start reading the book. When he returned he sat next to me. "I'm gonna call Donnie and let him know you're not going back to work for a little while. I don't want you working at the nightclub with all that bullshit. A fast heartbeat in an infant usually means the mother is stressed." I nodded as I kept reading. "Mmhmm." He was getting dressed. "You want breakfast?" I asked him. "Yeah. I just go to Rosie right?" I nodded and he left my bedroom.

I laid in bed for most of the day reading that book. Prince and Papa were talking in the kitchen, but I never tried to make sense of what they were saying. About halfway through the book, there was a knock at my door and I laughed. "Prince, you don't have to-" Marty came into the room. "Hey, I brought some clothes for Prince. How you doing, kid?" I smiled and sat crosslegged. "Reading. How do you feel about being an uncle?" He shook his head laughing. "Nervous. If it's a girl she's gonna have a fucking attitude like you do." Since Marty was here, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to ask him about Prince.

"Hey, so...Prince says he has epilepsy." I said casually. Marty shook his head. "Shit, if you can even call it that. He did when he was little from what his sister said. But you know, you can't really take her word for shit." I cocked my head to the side. So, did he have it or not? "Okay, so...what's going on? Something weird happened to him last night. He stared off for a few seconds and then thought I said something." Marty laughed. "Yeah, he does that. He day dreams a lot." That didn't seem like daydreaming to me. I shook my head. "Okay, go. Thanks. Rosie wants you to eat before you go. I heard her talking about feeding you before you work tonight. Did you tell Don-" "Prince told me to tell Donnie to suck a fat cock." I blinked in surprise. "Okay...well that works. Thanks Martin." He smirked before he left my bedroom.

I went back to reading for a little while before Prince entered my room this time. He was wearing very casual clothes.
