This story began in Teikō Middle School.
"Yū?"
A boy with bright red head, with a soothing voice, gently tapped on a sleeping boy.
"Ngh? Is it break time already?" Amanogi asked while rubbing his eyes sleepily.
Akashi, the red haired boy, can't handle the cuteness from the sleepy boy.
"No, the last period is over, you can go home." said Akashi while tidying up his books.
Amanogi got up, stretching and cracking his stiff neck. How he managed to be asleep through classes without getting caught by the teachers was unknown to anyone.
"What about you Sei? (Read : Sei-yi, yes he said that in a cute manner) Do you have practice after this?"
Akashi huffed and nodded. "The first string test is today remember?"
The silver haired boy widened in realization. "Right, then hurry up before you're late!" said the boy while pushing Akashi towards the door. Akashi giggled and ruffled the boy's hair gently.
"Alright alright, how about your orchestra club?"
Amanogi stiffened and looked away. "Ehh I think the registration is closed already--"
"I looked at the form on your bag and it said the due date is one week from today."
"Ah I haven't submitted the homework yesterday! I should go to the teacher's office--"
"I took it out and turned it when you're sleeping."
Amanogi sighed, he never succeed when he lied to Akashi. "Alright you win Sei.." Akashi raised his eyebrows, "Were you afraid to apply?" The boy cleared his throat and shut his eyes. His only friend--Akashi--was truly the only one who could read all his faces.
It's quite funny how the two individuals, who haven't met each other before, can be this inseparable within four years.
--Flashback on--
The young Amanogi, who was currently at fourth grade in elementary, was dozing off in front of the window in his room.
"Ahh, it's snowing."
The child sighed again and got up. Weather in Japan wasn't into his liking. It's cold and he's alone. It's twice the chilliness. He sighed at the sheet music scattered on the floor. He's sick of playing, alone, for no reason.
Just because he's good at it doesn't mean he have to do it all the time right?
Although truthfully, no one was forcing him to practise nor play the violin. It's his own choice to master the instrument, with the hope his parents would give him more attention. His grandfather gave him an extravagant violin, wishing the grandson would inherit his talent. Amanogi, being a good child he was, dutifully took the violin and practised everyday. Maybe, just maybe, his parents would spend more time with him.
It's no use though, his parents were still out of Japan. Just two days ago, he's sent here, in Tokyo, to live in the main house his family owned. For what reason, he didn't know, his mother didn't explain it to him at all. The poor boy could only accept it silently, throwing tantrum was probihited in the house, and it's very energy-waste.
'Knock knock'
Amanogi glanced at the door. "Come in."
A boy, around his age walked in. Amanogi swore the red hair was the brightest color he's ever seen. The amber eyes were piercing through him, but in contrast, his face was very gentle.
