Janet: you told Lexie the truth!!?!
Jaden: good morning to you to Janet, my sleep was great until you interrupted it, how was yours
Janet: cut the humor Jaden I am not kidding ness told me what happened in New York why did you tell her?
Jaden: because the album comes out tomorrow so it's not a big deal anymore she's not going to say anything
Janet: are you sure?
Jaden: yeah
Janet: okay then can you get over to the studio so we can talk about what's going to happen once the album is out
Jaden: yeah let me get ready and I'll be right over
Janet: okay

Jaden: (leans over and whispers in Josh's ear) I have to get to the studio, do you think you can take lex to dance?
Josh: yeah
Lexie: (whines) can I stay home today please please please
Josh: don't you have a competition coming up
Lexie: I can invite James to practice tomorrow, please let me stay I want to be with everyone today (pouts and gives puppy eyes)
Jaden: (looks at her) ugh fine but on one condition
Lexie: what?
Jaden: you and josh go to the other house and start packing stuff
Lexie: deal!
Josh: you didn't even ask me
Lexie: josh can we
Josh: yeah that's fine
Lexie: okay
Jaden: alright you guys have a good day, I gotta go love you (kisses lex on the forehead) and I love you babe (pecks josh on the lips)
Josh: (smiles) I missed that
Jaden: me too
Lexie: go upstairs if your going to do a quick round (fake gags)
Jaden: tempting but I really gotta go (gets off the couch) I still have clothes here right
Josh: no I let Bryce throw them off the balcony
Jaden: that better be sarcasm or you won't be able to sit tomorrow (starts walking upstairs)
Josh: (mumbles) I almost wish it was
Lexie: ew I am right here (hits him on the shoulder)
Josh: okay you asked for it (picks her up and starts tickling her)
Lexie: okay okay stop (laughs)
Kio: seriously some people are still trying to sleep (mumbles)
Josh: go to your room then
Kio: you know what fuck you (sits up and throws a pillow at him)
Josh: hey!
Kio: let me go back to sleep then
Josh: (turns to Lexie) want to go to Ihop and then to the house?
Lexie: sure I am going to go get ready (gets off the couch)

Lexie's pov
I went upstairs to my room and looked threw my closet and since I was in a happy mood today I decided to go with a aqua blue dress that had flower on it and sandals. Totally not my usual style but I don't know I am in the mood for it, I decided to put my hair in a high pony and walked downstairs to see josh standing in a hoodie and shorts, typical and was scrolling through his phone until he noticed me standing next to him.

Josh: am I missing something? Where did the real Lexie go (jokes)
Lexie: I don't know felt like wearing a dress today
Josh: cute, ready to go?
Lexie: yup
Josh: let's go then
(Lexie and josh get in the car and start driving to Ihop)
Josh: so how do you feel after everything that happened yesterday?
Lexie: happy I mean I wish you guys would have told me the truth but I understand why you didn't... Jaden's career was on the line and you didn't want to risk it but had I known maybe I wouldn't have given him such a hard time (laughs)
Josh: (shakes his head) your terror when you want to be you know that
Lexie: I prefer the term angel and demon but terror works too
Josh: I see what you did there (turns the radio on)
Lexie: what about you guys? How was the fight... besides Austin and Taylor, not going to lie it was brutal to watch
Josh: yeah I know especially when I wanted to be able to cheer on Bryce
Lexie: do you think he'll fight again?
Josh: I don't know that's up to him
Lexie: I don't want him to fight again
Josh: why not?
Lexie: it's not that I think he'll embarrass himself or anything I just don't like how he gets in this aggressive headspace even if he wasn't like that in the ring you get me?
Josh: yeah I get you (pulls up to ihop)
Lexie's pov
We walked into Ihop and was able to get our table pretty quickly and sat down, josh was just catching me up on his investment deals and how he just signed with NBA to help the youth which hasn't been announced to the public yet but I think it's really cool and I was talking to him about dance and the competition coming up.

Josh: when is the competition?
Lexie: a week after my birthday, I think it's going to be in New York but I am not a hundred percent sure
Josh: okay just let us know so we can get the time off ahead of time
Lexie: your coming?
Josh: that's a stupid question, did you really think we would let you go to New York by yourself
Lexie: I wouldn't be by myself I'd have the team
Josh: still plus if we didn't go you wouldn't have anyone to cheer you up
Lexie: okay fair point
(The waitress comes)
Waitress: what can I get for you guys?
Lexie: chocolate chip pancakes, with mozzarella sticks and some orange juice please
Waitress: okay and for you cutie (winks at josh)
Josh: regular pancakes with a medium glass of orange juice
Waitress: okay coming right up
Lexie: oh and can you do me a favor when you come back don't flirt with him, he has a boyfriend
Josh: Lexie!
Lexie: oops never mind forget I said anything he's single
(Josh facepalms himself, shakes his head and laughs)
Lexie: okay so maybe you do have a point about me leaking the truth (scratches the back of her head)
Josh: thanks for pointing that out captain obvious, but anyway moving on have you thought about what you want for your birthday?
Lexie: honestly just be with you guys, maybe we can go to six flags or something but nothing big, no parties
Josh: your turning sixteen why wouldn't you want to a party especially because you are the queen of parties
Lexie: I know but I just want to spend time together
Josh: we haven't been doing that huh bud
Lexie: no everyone's so busy all the time
Josh: we'll have a family meeting and make it a priority and make Saturday family day okay?
Lexie: okay (smiles)
Waitress: (comes back) here are your drinks and mozzarella sticks, your food will be out shortly
Josh: thank you, (looks back at Lexie) hey by the way do you still want your own studio at the house?
Lexie: are you kidding? Yes!
Josh: okay we'll start talking to some people and see if we can start the process
Lexie: okay
Lexie's pov
After that breakfast went by pretty quickly, the waitress tried flirting with him again and even left her number on the receipt super unprofessional but as soon as we were out of ear shot, josh threw it away and we started driving to the house. Twenty minutes later we parked in the driveway and I noticed cooper and Q were home too because their cars were parked, we got out and I opened the door with my spare key.

Quinton: lex quiet we are live-streaming
Lexie: oh I am sorry I didn't mean to interrupt the people who spend their day watching two idiots play video games all day
Cooper: that is offensive young lady, sup josh
Josh: hey bro
Lexie: I am going to start packing things in my "room"
Josh: okay let me know if you need any help

Lexie's pov
I walked through the hall and towards the room that I won't ever have to call mine and thankfully I didn't have much here because I didn't consider this my home ever therefore I had limited amount of clothing so I just put it in my duffel bag but realized I also had some clothes in Jaden's room. So I walked over to his room and realized that the clothes were pretty much scattered all over the place, has he been this messy? And if he has why haven't I noticed before? I brushed it off and started looking for my missing crop top when I bumped into the book shelf and something fell onto the floor. I went to go pick it up and when I got a closet look it was an envelope addressed to Jaden and I. The envelope was already open meaning Jaden must have opened it already but there was something inside it, I opened the envelope and it was papers, the first three papers were just custody papers that got signed so I placed them on the bed and looked inside the envelope to see a piece of paper I didn't see so I picked it up and it was a letter that said "hi Jaden we are writing you this to let you know that we are handing you full custody over Lexie, we want nothing to do with either of you anymore but mostly Lexie, to be honest Jaden she was a mistake between your father and I. Unplanned but obviously I wasn't about to get an abortion because that would be morally wrong but anyway she's your problem now and tell her not to contact us even though she hasn't but that's besides the point your father and I are moving to Hawaii and this will be the last time hearing from us love mom and dad." I didn't realize I had tears streaming down my face until I noticed a drop fall on the letter, I quickly wiped away the tear and put the custody papers back in the envelope before grabbing the letter and going downstairs. Josh was talking to Quinton and coop since they stopped live streaming and I just placed the letter in front of him.

Lexie: did you know about this? (Tears start streaming down her face again)
Josh: (looks at the letter) Lexie where did you find this?
Lexie: that's not what the question was, the question was did you know about it (voice cracks)
Josh: (sighs) come here (holds his arms out)
Lexie: no I don't want to hug, I want to know did you know about this stupid letter!
Josh: yes
Lexie: why didn't you guys tell me!? How many secrets are you going to keep from me!!
Josh: lex we were protecting you
Lexie: from what? The truth, my own parents didn't even fucking want me! The only reason I am here right now is because they couldn't go against their stupid morals!! How could you not tell me!!
Josh: for this exact reason look at you lexie, your crying over two people who couldn't give a shit, so it doesn't matter what they think (hugs her)
Lexie: you guys should just get rid of me too, now I know I am the problem, I am the burden with my millions of issues (breathing increases) I am the one that can't even go to a normal fucking school because my brain is stupid, I have the worst anxiety that controls me.. they were right to get rid of me (cries and breathes heavy)
Josh: shh shh no no they weren't don't say that okay? Your none of those things, what those people said about you doesn't matter
Lexie: those people were my parents josh (cries) I knew that they didn't take care of me because they were so busy working but they genuinely didn't give a shit about me, it hurts (cries and josh picks her up and holds her)
Quinton: I am going to call Jaden, he should come home right?
Cooper: yeah that's a good idea
Scene change
Travis: alright your album comes out tomorrow, how do you feel?
Jaden: it almost feels surreal, we've been waiting for this day for so long and now it's finally here
Travis: I know are you going to want to do anything?
Jaden: like a release party?
Travis: yeah
Jaden: am I going to have to publicly date ness, because if that's the case then I'd rather celebrate it with the boys at home
Kells: you don't have to act like your dating her but I think it would be nice to have her there as a friend at least
Jaden: well yeah that's fine but I want the boys there, and I want josh there
Travis: it's your album release party, decide and then text us we'll be there
Jaden: okay sounds good (phone starts ringing) hold on let me take this (answers)

Jaden: what's up Quinton?
Quinton: some stuff happened at the house.. josh came with Lexie so they can start packing and Lexie found a letter I guess your parents wrote
Jaden: shit okay, I am finishing up at the studio I'll be there as soon as I can
Quinton: okay

Jaden: so is that pretty much it?
Travis: yeah you can go
Jaden: thanks guys, honestly I don't know what I would do without your constant support (hugs Travis and then kells)
Kells: always bro now get out of here (jokes)
Jaden: okay (leaves the studio and gets into the car and starts driving home)
Scene change
Josh's pov
Lex has been crying in my arms for the past ten minutes and I am trying to calm her down before she triggers herself into a panic attack but I don't exactly know if it's helping. I swear if I ever meet her parents one day I would punch her father in the face... I would do the same to her mother but then I'd end up in jail... maybe I'd get ness to beat her ass, she kind of owes us. I shook the thought out of my head and paid attention to the crying teenager in front of me.

Lexie: why didn't they want me josh? Why wasn't I good enough? Why couldn't I have just been Normal (sobs)
Josh: hey hey what have we said before? Normal's boring, forget normal okay? Your life isn't normal it never has been and it's not now but you know what that's okay (wipes her tears)
Lexie: why?
Josh: because we love you for who you are, you might not be my blood lex but your just as much my daughter as you are Jaden's so fuck those people's opinions because they don't even deserve the title of your parents okay?
Lexie: o okay (sniffles)
Josh: just think of them as strangers, who don't really know you because they never tried to know you and that's their loss not yours understand? (Lifts her chin and looks her In the eyes)
Lexie: I understand
Josh: good (kisses the top of her head)
(the door opens and Jaden walks straight the living room to see Josh holding Lexie on his lap and tear stains on her cheeks)
Jaden: come here baby (holds his arms out)
Lexie: (gets off Josh's lap and walks over to Jaden) why didn't you tell me about the letter?
Jaden: because I was trying to avoid this, I hate seeing you so sad and breaking down, you've done that enough of your life and those people weren't going to be the cause of you having another breakdown, I wasn't about to let that happen, how did you find it though?
Lexie: I was looking for my wine colored crop top and I bumped into the bookshelf and the envelope with the custody papers fell
Jaden: and you saw the letter and read it
Lexie: yeah
Jaden: I am sorry I didn't tell you but it honestly was to protect you are you mad?
Lexie: at first I was but not at you guys I think I was more mad at the fact you kept it from me and seeing what they said about me hurt (voice cracks) do you feel the same way they do Jaden?
Jaden: of course not Lexie! I don't want you to ever ever think that, I have told you before that you are the biggest blessing In my life and I don't want you to ever forget that, josh, the boys, they all love you and that's what matters, not the people who didn't care to even give you a chance okay? (Kisses the top of her head)
Lexie: okay
Jaden: I think you did enough packing today, why don't you go grab your bag and we'll head back to sway okay?
Lexie: okay (gets off Jaden's lap and walks upstairs)
Jaden: hey babe (walks over to josh and pecks him on the lips)
Josh: you couldn't have gotten here like ten minutes ago that would have been helpful (jokes)
Jaden: sorry LA traffic you know how it is
Josh: yeah it's cool, I guess I'll take lex to sway and you follow behind in your car?
Jaden: yeah (looks at cooper and Quinton) you coming?
Cooper: we are going on a double date, Sab and I and Quinton with Odalie
Josh: oh that's right Q's got a new girl, so when do I get to meet her?
Quinton: I'll bring her around sway sometime this week
Josh: okay sounds good
(Lexie comes back downstairs)
Josh: ready?
Lexie: yeah, Jaden you coming?
Jaden: yeah I am going to pack up some of my clothes and I'll head over there
Lexie: okay
Josh: see you back at home (kisses Jaden)
Lexie's pov
We walked to the car and started driving to sway which didn't take to long to get to because we took the back roads and when we got there as soon as we opened the door we heard talking coming from the kitchen and we saw Rafy, Blake, Micheal and Bryce.

Bryce: it also sucks because now I have built up anger towards you because I heard you were talking shit about me
Micheal: talking shit about what?
Bryce: I couldn't move tickets
Micheal: that's not at all what I said, they were expecting you to move four thousand tickets and I said that I think that's over shooting for everybody
Bryce: no you specifically fucking name dropped me
Micheal: I was trying to get you a deal so that they can guarantee you money

(Lexie gets off the chair and starts walking out to the living room when the front door open and Jaden walks in)

Lexie: Bryce and Micheal are arguing and josh told me to go upstairs but I want to see the drama (whines)
Jaden: if josh wants you upstairs go upstairs we'll call you back down after

Bryce: so who tried to split up sway?
Micheal: what do you mean? You guys are still living together
Bryce: I know but that's because we told you we weren't going to live separately but who was the one that tried to put their foot down and split up sway when the arrest happened?

Bryce: the only reason you have the connections you have right now is because of us

(Josh looks over and Jaden and then they look over at Bryce and start walking over to him)
Josh: dude dude (gently pushes him out of the kitchen)

(They walk out to the front)

Micheal: literally no one speaks up to him, and everyone just gets stepped on and I don't fucking like it, he tries to claim he has so much power, he says he can ruin me then ruin me I am giving him permission
Jaden: we all know Micheal is blunt but I don't think he wants to try and ruin you Bryce: okay fine but griffin wants to try and do entertainment why is he taking advice from Micheal when he knows nothing about entertainment
Micheal: well that's why he lets us have full control of our social media content
Bryce: I know you do but the rest of the guys especially griffin is being taken by the dick my Micheal
Josh: okay but if griffin is going to Micheal saying tell me what to turn it can't be Micheal's fault since he's telling him what to do
Jaden: josh has a point there but that's besides the point because here's what it comes down to, we know Bryce and Micheal have been going at it for a while and it doesn't help sway, now we built sway, Micheal can take the credit all he wants but originally it was Josh's idea so what do you guys want to do about it?
Josh: listen I am tired of the arguing and the back and forth so if you don't want Micheal to be part of sway anymore you need to tell me Bryce, you said it yourself we can be successful without him but I need you to tell me so that i can tell him
Bryce: I don't want him part of sway, I think he brings all this negative energy with it
Jaden: okay let's bring Noah, Blake and griffin out so we can make a unanimous decision

(Jaden walks over to the glass door and opens it)
Jaden: Blake, griffin, Noah can you come here for a second
Them: yeah (walks outside)
Noah: so what's going on?
Josh: do you guys want Micheal out of sway, yes or no
Blake: yeah
Griffin: what about the business partnerships josh?
Josh: we'll deal with that but right now the priority is keeping our family together so if you guys feel like Micheal is jeopardizing that then I need to know now
Noah: I feel like he is
Griffin: yeah I guess
Josh: okay then it's decided Michael's fired and I'll tell him (walks inside the house) Micheal let's go talk in the front
Micheal: okay

Josh: so the boys and I talked and we mutually decided that it's best if you leave sway, I am sorry I know you've done a lot for griffin and I and I am grateful for that but the family I built is on the line and that's more important to me then any business deal
Micheal: okay if that's what you want but when sway falls apart financially especially after Bryce not being paid don't forget that I was the one that wanted to help you
Josh: yeah well like I said my family comes first and I'll figure it out because I always do, you can leave now
Micheal: fine whatever josh (gets in his car and drives away)
Josh: Lexie you can come down now!
(Lexie walks downstairs)
Lexie: what happened?
Josh: Micheal's kicked out of sway
Lexie: thank god he was always mean to me (starts walking to the kitchen)
Josh: wait, hold up what did you just say?
Lexie: he was mean to me...
Josh: how?
Lexie: he would just make comments when you guys weren't paying attention, he didn't completely say them to me but I knew it was directed at me
Josh: why didn't you tell any of us?
Lexie: because I didn't want your career to be ruined...
Josh: (sighs) Lexie if someone who works for us doesn't treat you right, you need to tell us and we'll hand it okay?
Lexie: okay
Josh: promise
Lexie: I promise (hugs him)
Josh: come on let's go join the others
Lexie's pov
We walked back into the kitchen and saw the boys pretty much just trying to calm down from everything and I just took a seat next to Rafy.

Bryce: what do you mean? Your job has nothing to do with Micheal even if he hired you
Josh: yeah your still the greatest assistant, we need you especially after that chaos (jokes)
Rafy: aww guys I fell so loved (says sarcastically)
Lexie: can we make brownies
Jaden: what? (Looks at her)
Lexie: I don't know I just realized I am really craving brownies right now
Blake: do we even have the ingredients?
Rafy: I think I got the mix the last time we went to the grocery store
Lexie: (gets off the counter and opens the pantry) found it
Noah: sure why not (gets a mixing bowl)
Lexie's pov
We spent the rest of the day making brownies well the first batch ended up in a food fight that we needed to clean up but then we actually made the second batch which came out really good. For dinner we decided to order PF Chang's and binge watch manifest on the couch until ten when Jaden called lights out because tomorrow is going to be a long night since Jaden's album comes out. We were upstairs in the room and I had just finished brushing my teeth and crawled into the middle of josh and Jaden's bed.
