I was born to a Canadian mother so it was inevitable that my mom would have relatives in Canada, Quebec to be precise. My grandpas, Christian, and his husband, Bryan. And my grandmas, Amelie, and her wife, Rose. My grandparents are Christian and Amelie, back in the 60s, being gay was not really a great thing because of the whole "being gay is a sin" thing, so my grandfather was forced to marry my grandmother, I mean, they cared for each other but in a platonic way.
but 2 months into the marriage, my grandma's birth control was tampered with by her own mother, which resulted in my uncle, Joel. Next, my grandparents decided to have more than one child and had my uncle, Norman. And then they had my mom, Eleanor!
When my mom was 16, she was told by her parents that they were divorcing and that they felt like she was old enough to understand why. My uncles took it pretty well and so did my mom, they actually went to the weddings for both parents in 2009 as honorary guests! And that's also when my uncle, Joel, and aunt, Marjorie got married and later welcomed my cousin, Marcus. in 2012, my uncle, Norman got married to my uncle George.
