"Stop playin games gabby- We got a damn English test tomorrow and you worried about if your ramen noodles are done. now cmon and help me study for this test" I said crossing my arms.

"Hey, don't be mad that this is the last packet of noodles, besides I didn't eat at all today . Gabby says taking a bite of her noodles.

"And who's fault is that ? I say with a concerned look.

"Coach didn't give us a break because kasandra thought it was okay to skip practice. I get that coach is a pain in the ass , but you can't just skip because you don't feel like it . Gabby says messing over her noodles.

Suddenly I heard a knock at the door , assuming it was Gina who was supposed to be stopping by to get some help in English. I went ahead and set my English papers down on my sofa and made my way towards  the door.

"Oh, that must be Gina , she's 15 minutes late- I don't understand how you show up 15 minutes late to someone's dorm and they live two room away from you.

I slowly opened the door hoping to see Gina but instead it was jay. He had on a sleeveless white t and grey sweats with his chain hanging in the middle of his chest. I looked down to see that he had on white forces . He had on a hard top hat which was tilted slightly to the side. He grinned as he looked me up and down licking his lips.

"Wasssup lil girl. Jay says leaning on the side of the wall.

"Little girl? Boy don't play with me I am the same age as you- And to be technical. I'm 2 months older than you. I say playfully rolling my eyes

"Yea. Get him bran-" gabby says

"I know you not talkin pencil legs..." jay said teasing gabby

I cover my mouth to hide my laugh.

"Anyways, you comin here to clown us all night or you wanna come in and hang?

"Yea ill hang for a bit! Jay says making his way through the door

"Hm, I thought you would be at practice today, did they let you guys have a free day today? I say closing the door behind me

"N- no they uh, they'll be fine without me today . they seemed like they didn't need my help at practice so I just thought I'd take a ... you know ? A lil break. Jay says grinning

"code word for he got kicked off the team, Jay you can't lie if your life depended on it . You know good and well your strugglin in Mrs Klein's class- that's why coach kicked you off. Gabby says crossing her arms

"Damn. Why you be tellin all my business?" Jay says turning around to gabby

"Jay. If you need help in that class you know you can just ask me right? I say looking at him with concern.

"Nah ion need help. I got this

"You obviously don't got it if your getting kicked off the basketball team-

"I mean she does have a point- if you at least ask someone for help it could easily put you back on the team. Your the star player of the team and as a cheerleader we obviously need something to cheer for. Gabby says finishing her noodles up

"Yea , I'm not trying to force you to get help but you gotta be eligible to play- it's your choice weather you want to be on the team or not". I add in

"Look. I mean, I'll think about getting help but as of right now Ion wanna pay any mind to it . Jay says adjusting his hat

"Alrighty then." I say changing the subject
